Not sure if the generic US Holiday calendar can be added to, but you could create a new Dates to remember calendar and add the US holidays into it.
Wunderlist is pretty easy to use both the actual app, and adding in the module. Just be sure that you name your shared lists differently than the default ones… Grocery’s for example gets created on everybody’s account at setup… You need to add things to the shared list if you want it to show up.

This is a great idea and I am trying to duplicate it but I’m stuck at the Wunderlist.
Is there a tutorial or walk through on requesting the API?
I am new to all of this and been holding my own for the most part (noob).
Thanks! -
To get to the API spot use the shortcuts “Here” located in the config section…

As to what you want to fill in use this topic for assistance…

@Wedee Thanks!
I can not find where the access token and client ID should go in the config.js file.
Any tips or pointers on where to put this information?modules: [ { module: 'MMM-Wunderlist', position: 'top_right', // This can be any of the regions. Best results in left or right regions. header: 'Wunderlist', // This is optional config: { // See 'Configuration options' for more information. } } ] -
It is added just below the
config: {Like this…
{ module: 'MMM-Wunderlist', position: 'top_right', // This can be any of the regions. Best results in left or right regions. header: 'XXX', // This is optional config: { accessToken: 'xxxxxxx', clientID: 'xxxxxxx', lists: ["XXXX"], fade: false, interval: "120" } }, -
@Wedee Thanks! Works perfect now!
-
So… how did Christmas go? I hope everyone was amazed!

Sorry just got back from a work trip to Europe. Yes the Family loves the board. Already have made several improvements, and have several more ideas we want to try. I had bought an additional Raspberry Pi to play with and successfully set up Alexa, so I think that is the next major add to the info board.
After telling a few at work about the idea two more guys have set up a similar board at their place, and their families love it as well.

@Wedee can you post your custom.css file?
-
this is perfect!
-
@Wedee don’t want to be a wierdo but I fell in love with this I Just shot you a pm
-
@Wedee : How did you the trick with several calendars? Could you please share some infos for me?
Thx -
@Orca simply clone the module for the calendar and change the settings for login.
-
@lucallmon: Can you give me a hint how to clone this module. I’ve copied the folder into …/modules and named it calendar1, but only black screen.
Thx -
No need to duplicate the module, in the config.js just repeat the module config but point to the second calendar settings.
-
You have two possibilities with the calendar module.
Option 1:
This shows one block and mixes both calendars, sorted by date
modules: [ { module: 'calendar', header: 'both calendars' position: 'top_left', config: { calendars: [ { url: 'http://www.whatever.....xx.ics', symbol: 'calendar', }, { url: 'http://www.justanother....zz.ics', symbol: 'calendar', } ], } } ]Option 2:
This show calendar1 sorted by date and then shows calendar2 sorted by date, but in a seperate block with a seperate header
modules: [ { module: 'calendar', header: 'calendar1' position: 'top_left', config: { calendars: [ { url: 'http://www.whatever.....xx.ics', symbol: 'calendar', } ], } }, { module: 'calendar', header: 'calendar2' position: 'top_left', config: { calendars: [ { url: 'http://www.justanother....zz.ics', symbol: 'calendar', } ], } } ]
