        @swvalenti u have to provide a credit card for billing to work.

        google gives you limited free usage, and their design is that the using app should keep working, even when the free usage runs out… So, they demand a useful card up front.

            Go to the API Console.
            From the projects list, select a project or create a new one.
            Open the console left side menu (three bars top left) and select Billing.
            Click Enable billing. ( ...

                that might be a bug
                in the older currentWeather module it sends the icon name

                this.sendNotification("CURRENTWEATHER_TYPE", { type: this.config.iconTable[data.weather[0].icon].replace("-", "_") });

                and in the new weather , it sends the weatherType (code?)

                			this.sendNotification("CURRENTWEATHER_TYPE", { type: this.weatherProvider.currentWeather().weatherType.replace("-", "_") });

                u should be able to look at the notification in the developers window console

                u can filter on the notification 'CURRENT" is enough I think

                    i don’t understand your question…

                    the option u listed is dependent on a default module sending a notification that Rain-Map USES .

                    so that means you MUST use the default module

                    if its not sent, then there is nothing to receive
                    if the data is wrong, then it doesn’t work.

                        thx @sdetweil for explaining.
                        It‘s nothing but a bug. I will fix that as soon as I find the time for some maintenance on that module.
