MMM-Soccer - Standings, Schedules and Top Scorers
-
Hello,
I’ve been here for a few hours trying to get Portugal’s first league up and running, and from what I see it’s free, but it’s always charging and it doesn’t work. if you put germany it works correctly.i try: don’t work
{
module: ‘MMM-soccer’,
position: ‘top_left’,
config: {
api_key: ‘24ea5f89c975401c90bdccb9dd5c16df’,
show: ‘PORTUGAL’,
league: {“PORTUGAL”: “PPL”},
logos: false,
colored: false,
max_teams: 7
}
}
this: dont work
{
module: ‘MMM-soccer’,
position: ‘top_left’,
config: {
api_key: ‘24ea5f89c975401c90bdccb9dd5c16df’,
show: ‘PORTUGAL’,
logos: false,
colored: false,
max_teams: 7
}
}this: work fine
{
module: ‘MMM-soccer’,
position: ‘top_left’,
config: {
api_key: ‘24ea5f89c975401c90bdccb9dd5c16df’,
show: ‘GERMANY’,
logos: false,
colored: false,
max_teams: 7
}
}thank so mutch

I found the problem,
inside the folder of the module:
file MMM-soccer.js
defaults: { api_key: false, colored: false, **show: 'PORTUGAL',** focus_on: false, max_teams: false, logos: false, leagues: { **PORTUGAL: 'PPL',** FRANCE: 'FL1', ENGLAND: 'PL', SPAIN: 'PD', ITALY: 'SA' }
so I think the module is only loading the leagues that are in the list as default, I added Portugal as default and added it to the leagues in the list below and it already works correctly.

@hugopvl but u can do that in config.js
anything in defaults can be replaced w similar notation in the module config section
-
-
supposed to be the right one, but if you read my previous comment, you can see that it wasn’t working, it just worked with the change in MMM-soccer.js

@hugopvl it didn’t work because of the small mistake I mentioned before. Your config entry was not recognized because your object was
league:
notleagues:
@strawberry-3-141 might include in the README that additional leagues can be included via the config entry you made before. Or include all of them from the start. -
Today the European Championship will kickoff :flexed_biceps: :soccer_ball:
I’m currently working on version 3 of this module. It will be possible to not only display the standings of a league but also get the schedules and top scorers displayed in a carousel.
On top of that, the module will finally support cups such as the European Championship, Champions League, and World Cup.
If you want to test the beta for tonight’s kickoff, then head over to Github https://github.com/fewieden/MMM-soccer/pull/42 for all details.
If you find any issues or need help, please report them here https://github.com/fewieden/MMM-soccer/pull/42 so they are all grouped together.

Fixed the standings for the ongoing European Championship. Schedules are now filtered by the current matchday.
Check out https://github.com/fewieden/MMM-soccer/pull/42 to test v3 of the module.

thanks for the new version, it’s really great. Great new features.
However, i have Problem to install the leatest version with „schedules fix“. Unfortunately I am not so familiar with git. Is there a new branch available or have to use „feature/extract-api-provider"?
-
@babene1 it is the same branch. You can check which branch you are currently using with
git status
.On branch feature/extract-api-provider Your branch is up to date with 'origin/feature/extract-api-provider'.
To update to the latest commit you can simply run
git pull
, as no dependencies have changed.
