I originally wasn’t going to use this module, but it seems pretty cool, so I’ll try. I, however, have no clue how to physically connect the raspberry pi to the PIR sensor without a breadboard. I understand that I must specify the GPIO pins I connect to in the config file, but that will only help me if I figure out how to connect everything (soldering?). Could someone help me? I’m completely new to motion detection. :dizzy_face:

I have noticed that on my mirror, there is a particular compliment that always seems to skip. Has this happened to anyone else? The only way I’ve been able to fix it is by turning the module off with remote control and turning it back on.

I was wondering how to backup my SD card. I already have Win32DiskImager installed on my computer, but I wanted to know how exactly to set up a backup in case something happens to my raspberry pi.

With the new update, I have noticed that I get an error message when I restart Magic Mirror, but it still restarts anyway. I remember other people experiencing that too, so I’ll just ignore it. Why does it happen, though?

There’s instructions for updating there. If this doesn’t help, look around the forum because I am pretty sure someone has had the same problem as you.
