Hey again! :) I got problem with the camera module for some time now…I’ve done everything that the readme say for camera and voice control modules. In the voice control module there is notificationReceived and i don’t understand how to write it for the camera module.If someone can post it that will be very helpful. Regards!

Hello everyone! Can you help me with this module - I try to implement new voice commands :) I installed the module and changed the language, but all I can do is say ‘‘Hi mirror’’ and I receive the text command ‘‘What can I do for you?’’ - have you implemented new commands in this module ?? Regards!

I’ve built three mirrors so far. The first was with acrylic and the next two were glass. The glass is definitely the way to go. The acrylic warps a bit so you get a slight funhouse mirror effect, especially along the edges. I built that one in my garage, but it now lives in Florida. The change in climate made the frame expand and put pressure on the edges of the acrylic, making it warp slightly. The glass doesn’t have this problem. (Although both of those mirrors are local).

yep - the first modification that I tried " ipWhitelist: [“127.0.0.1”, “::ffff:127.0.0.1”, “::1”,“::ffff:192.168.100.8”]" was with the IP of my mobile phone :)

The MagicMirror2 has more capabilities then the other one… yes voice is integrated and yes you can watch youtube videos it’s what you can can’t do is why so many are here. Here you can create your own modules and they are supported by the structure of this mirror. [there are several voice modules available] As you will see there are MANY different types of modules and more coming each day and is a big reason it was voted #1… So you can go with the gadgets or you can build a mirror that works for you rather then having one that only does what it does…where you have little or no control over the functions.
