I’m having a problem with MMM-MyCommute - Google has blocked my API usage, because my bank blocked them from hitting my card so hard that the police was called… Seriously.

My bank has shut down my credit card due to fraud, called the police, and opened a report with them because Google has kept authorizing small amounts on my credit card then releasing it (I’m assuming they’re constantly checking if the card is valid). They’re considering it fraud, and they told me that if I re-authorize Google to use my bank account, they’ll close the account.

Google has responded by cancelling my API usage.

Therefore, I can no longer use google as a data provider. Is there another provider option for this, or am I stuck?

If I’m stuck, is there another module that has like functionality, but from a SP that won’t pound my card like Ronda Rousey on fight night?

That’s sounding more like the profile switcher’s issue - unless you’ve config’d this player to be full screen.

I haven’t heard of running it directly on windows, rather using the Raspberry as a server, and any browser as the client.

If you’ve got a strong enough Raspberry, there isn’t a good enough reason to run it anywhere other than the Raspberry itself, in my view.

Happens from time to time. I just turned off the logos…

Does it handle midnight properly in 12 hour mode? So darned tired of the 0am stuff the other DarkSky one has. ;)

it’s hard for me to tell what’s holding the monitor in place in your pics, honestly - and your post is actually what spawned this one - because to me, it looks like the monitors just float there, which I know isn’t possible (yet?)

Can you guys that have removed the monitor from it’s case show me how you mounted it within the frame? I’m trying to decide how to do my project build now that I’ve got everything mostly working.

So, it does the same thing now with my other magic mirror install.

The other unit is on a 7" touchscreen, I have it alternating between the Weather module and the Weather Forcast module.
