      I can verify mac addresses not working for me either… I installed it to play with and the only way I can show anything online is using ip addresses…

      @Mykle1 You could run it without he module to see what happens. I tell you what I’d do before I tried it again… backup my sd card :)

      The only thing I’m not loading that you are is the plantrise stuff didn’t need it… but other than that we are running almost identical.

      Had to make a minor adjustment on my end… please check the date and make sure it’s showing correctly :) [Right date… ie 8/9/2017 please make sure the day number is correct]

      https://forum.magicmirror.builders/topic/1808/mmm-pnews

      It shows 1 item at a time but the issue is always the same… space. Usually the mirrors aren’t large enough to warrant taking up that much space :)

      The next issue becomes the thumbnails can’t always keep up… the pi isn’t a powerhouse ;)

    • RE: I can't seem to configure the default clock for my life

      @Treestanx you’re missing some parts ;) Rule of thumb… you need to have equal { }
      so for every { you need one of }… You’re missing two ;) One at the start and one at the end.

                     {
      		module: 'clock',
      			position: 'top_left',
      			config: {
      				displaySeconds: false,
      				timezone: "America/New_York",
      		                     }
      	      },

      Thanks @RedNax I still remember the day I was trying to get this module to work [NOOOOOB LOL] and you helped me I appreciated that! Now the colors are just awesome!!!

      I’m finding that myself personally colors are making my mirror stand out and I like it… I’m sure many other users do as well!

      Thanks!

    • RE: Need help to install the first new module to the mirror ...

      I have found that I need to slow down and read the entire readme… many modules require “npm install”… that right there is more than 1/2 of the errors ;)

      I’m so glad you came to ask for help! I know it’s hard to do at times… I know myself I have an extremely difficult time asking for help…

      BUT just remember when you’re new at this go slow… take your time :) If you get into trouble just ask. HUGE suggestion… when you have a working config.js you should make a copy of it before you change anything in it… that way if you get into trouble you have a backup that you know works!

      Easy in a terminal window:

      ~MagicMirror/config
      cp config.js config.bak

      That’s all there is to it! :) Then you’re safe!

    • RE: MMM-NOAA - Another Weather Module

      @barnosch said in MMM-NOAA - Another Weather Module:

      cool. thanks for the explanation.
      So what can i do, if i do not want to update, because it would overwrite my changes, but get rid of the “please update the MMM-NOAA module” message on the mirror?
      is there a git command to ignore local changes?

      The change was made because the url was wrong… For some reason that’s one of the issues for the problems :) It’s fixed.

      Follow @strawberry-3-141 advice :)
