i wanna show you my MagicMirror in a 42" multitouch BDL4230ET Philips display,it has build in speakers, comes with a lot of handy features
I bought this display on a online marketplace, in the advertisement they told me that it was used for an presentation in Eindhoven and that they didnt need it anymore , without knowing what this display costs new and they didnt mention a price. Ive maid the seller a offer and after 5 minutes they send me an email that they agree with my offer, so i called the seller rightaway and since im living in The Hague, some like 2 hours driving from Eindhoven i asked them if i could pick it up that day, they gave me the adress and when i was searching for it on google i saw it was near the Philips PSV stadion and i was picking it up at the PhilipsMuseum.

I installed my RasPi3 with MM2 and made a wooden frame , everyone who comes to visit us at home is looking at it and wants one at their own home.

The only thing i need some help with is my touchinterface, if i touch my screen and i move my finger up , the pointer goes to the left and so on.
touchinterface is working thru usb from screen inserted in my pi.

I still want to figure some modules out or who can help me with making some modules

• MMM-RandomPhoto

Things i would love to have:

• Module for Itead sonoff lightning switches
• Lucy or some other Alexa thing
• Spotify music player
• Modules other Mirrorusers suggest ;) (feel free to submit some ideas)

Deze post doe ik in het nederlands omdat ik de nederlandse forum leden wil laten weten dat ik mijn touchscreen te koop aanbied.

Helaas moet ik door verhuizing/ruimte gebrek mijn 42" verkopen en zou graag een ander hier op het fora de eerste keus willen geven tot het overnemen van dit unieke scherm.

alle mogelijke aansluitingen zitten op dit scherm , zie mijn vorige posts.
De laatste tijd heeft het scherm bijna niet gedraaid doordat het uit heeft gestaan.
Bij interesse stuur mij een pb.

Anyone know if its possible to get the touchscreen (42") to run in portrait mode “with” built-in touch (USB) functionality? The display and touch work great in landscape mode, but I cannot get it to work in portrait.

Adding the following in the config.txt seem to have no effect on touch:

display_rotate=3

or

lcd_rotate=3

However, lcd_rotate=3 does rotate screen but no luck on touch interface

I’m running the latest MM2 v2.3.1 config, on a Raspberry Pi 3.

Please help!!
