I’ve tried running sdetweil’s install script on a freshly install of Raspian but I am getting the following error:

@karsten13 Thanks this fixed it, I can see a subfolder of node_modules has changed names following the npm install.

@sdetweil Thanks for the advice, I’ll mark this as solved.

@sdetweil It appears there is more space between the characters than the previous font and to me looks less neat and causes the Gmail module to overlap the clock when an email with a long subject is present. If this is the current look I guess I will have to experiment with setting custom fonts.

@sdetweil I use the update function within MMM-Remote-Control, I expect this is the equivalent to a manual update.

@sdetweil I believe I was on the previous version as I update when notified by the system, the last update notification said I was 136 commits behind the master.

After updating to the latest release of MM the default font seems to have changed and is taking up more room than the old font, I see the font source was changed but no mention of any change of the default font. I’ve not got any custom fonts specified in my custom.css. here’s a screenshot of how my MM looks now.

@ray I’ve reported an issue I was having with the update to this module and linked this thread, there’s been an update to hopefully address the issues and the issue tracker has been enabled on the github page.

MMM-PushbulletNotifications might give you some of the functionality you’re after.

@acethefire I’ve used an Android app call KWGT to make a widget on my phone that works with the Tasker app (needs to be purchased) and the RESTask plugin to send a notification to MM to move between pages, I made a PC app in Python to do the same thing which was a lot easier to do than I would have thought! There’s the MM-Remote Android app that has built in buttons for moving between pages.

@ulster If you’re using MMM-GoogleAssistant I found I had to disable this otherwise I was only seeing a black screen following updating to v2.15.0
