Found it. It was a pocketsphinx lib, that was the problem. Now I have “Ready, choose a mode”

If i google “deserializer.cc” i get a link to the git of chromium. so maybe your chromium installation is broken. Did u use the automatic installer or not? I tested a few phones now and it seems to be a browser issue. I downloaded Chrome to a old phone that wouldn’t display MM using it’s default browser. this Now displays MM. :smiling_face_with_smiling_eyes: Unfortunately my old tablet will not down load this. I suspect it is to old to handle it. Sadly I had built a mirror for this tablet so looks like I need to find an app till I create something to show MM content on this tablet.

Hi! I’m building my own mirror and I would like to add the Facial Recognition module from @paviro . When I train the program it works perfectly (I get Strong:Lucas almost all the time), but when I use the module, I always have User undefined with confidence null logged in. I don’t understand why. The users array in the config file is correctly set, like users: ["Lucas"]. Can someone help me to find what I am doing wrong ? Thanks

I reinstall with the restore mode at startup and I reinstall all my mirror from scratch

@bradau no sorry, thats not my case if you dont have any problem with the full kms maybe you will have to search of a tvservice alternative, something that works on any linux desktop and not specific to RPI

Thanks god I solved it!!! While exiting from /etc/lightdm/lightdm.conf I pressed inadvertently option+x instead control+x and I added “†” in the file without realising it. Thank you guys for helping me out

Hello all, I am having a problem with the layout of the calendar and weather overlapping  (If my attempt to upload the picture didn’t work, I also uploaded it here: https://imgur.com/a/ZG6hCLC) As you can hopefully see from the attached image the calendar module is overlapping with the weather module. I dig around in the read me files for both the calendar and weather module and don’t see how I might address the problem. Can someone please point me in the right direction on how to do this? Should I be setting the maximum width for the calendar module such that it does not overlap with the weather module? I’m no CSS expert but can do some trial and error with the values that might work but am not sure where to start. Any help is appreciated. Nathan

MMM-Pir isnt working any moore. Sensor still working. commands still working. but module isnt working anymore. added raspbian 8 node.js repository to get the mirror itself back to work. any ideas how to get the pir module back to work?

Thanks for your reply. I have already commented out the updater module (following the other thread quietly) but that hasn’t changed anything. It’s a pity you can’t send keystrokes but for now the pm2 reload...seems to do the job. At least according to pm show...it was successfully reloaded this morning.

Editing the Config file is pretty simple once you’ve done it once and shouldn’t take 5 minutes, depending upon how many and how complex you get with the modules.
