@termeric No that’s a monitor setting so what you have to do is some research because this isn’t the first time this has happened… look up your monitor and find out how to fix it :)

Hey, even if this is more a year ago,. I recently have the Problem, that only the temperature shows one specific - incorrect - value. It is always 11.4 °C. Even tho at the moment its freezing,. the rest of the app is correct: forecast in written words,. in pictures, etc,… Any idea? No errors via pm2 log.

I have this issue after downloading the fswebcam package (https://www.raspberrypi.org/documentation/usage/webcams/). Whenever I turn on my Raspberry Pi, my webcam turns on as well (which is what I want). However upon running the MagicMirror app, there will always be this error code that looks like this: Whoops! And the screen loads a live stream of my webcam video. I understand that the issue is with the server being shared by the two apps that cause the issue, however when I change the server port of the MagicMirror app in the config.js file to a different server, the fswebcam server runs on the same server of the MagicMirror. It’s like the fswebcam server is coded to always use the same server as my MagicMirror app. Hopefully, someone can share with me on how to change the code for the fswebcam such that an individual server for the webcam can be created and I can have the two apps running simultaneously.

If i disconnect the USB dongle for keyboard, after a short time, the console changes by itself form tty3 desktop view to tty2 console. Where is the mistake? Thanks for any hint

Hello, me again, I have a fine working Mirror , but I´d like to chanke the langauage in Italian, that works fine also, the only problem is the Pir Sensor doesnt reacts . when I switch back to German it works fine. To troubleshoot, I changed http://localhost:8080 to http://www.google.com. I rebooted and it came up with google on the screen. I am not sure if it is the browser not connecting to the MM2 server or the server not working.

In the installation Script i saw an installation of PM2, the Splash Screen and some more, that would then still be kept in the system…

@Mykle1 I agree with you on that. There’s no reason to upgrade to stretch unless you really need to. In my case, I had to upgrade to stretch because the latest alexa sdk doesn’t support jessie. When I say upgrade, I moved every thing to a new card. My pi zero runs pihole + open vpn and is still on jessie. No reason to switch that one unless the foundation stops releasing updates for jessie.

Well. After manually installing version 1.7.6 of electron and globally installing the coffee and lint nodes that the initial install complained about. I ran the manual install and everything seems to be working. I now have to add back my modules and see where we are. Thanks.
