@ianperrin Thank you for this!! I was going crazy with my MM, and swapping in your YouTube plugin fixed all kinds of problems I was having, that I have now figured out were because the older “MMM-YT-Stats” plugin is apparently broken.

@sdetweil I would prefer to interact with touch. I saw there is a simple module to controls pre defineted light settings (https://github.com/gueguet/MMM-Hue-Controller) but what i read i think that i cant dim the lights with this module Voice control would be my second favorite interact method

@jordans not possible w default calendar but displaying once a week for a weekly is what calendars do… (even tho u may ignore it in the what chart type view)

@rubens Well the config options seem self-explanatory. You need to create an accessToken inside home assistant however. THere are some other MMM Home Assistant modulesout there, e.g. MMM-HomeAssistant-sensors by @snille. Or https://github.com/aserramonner/MMM-HASS by aserramonner. You could have a look at these as well. It is very possible that the module only gives a status since most MM modules are not programmed to be interactive but only to provide information.

Hello, Is there a module which allows to use an infrared receiver + remote to for example send predefined notifications?

For those who are locked down and need a haircut badly enough to do it themselves. It’s hard to properly cut hair on the side and back of my head when I can’t see it – so I’d love to be able to have a mirror that on command will (wait long enough for me to turn around and) take a photo, and display it long enough for me to evaluate what I’ve done. I’m aware that it might take a bit more hardware and some coding, but need ideas as to how to proceed.

Hi there, I have aquestion regarding the size of a GIF. The GIF I am using has a size of 500*375. My screen has a resolution of 1920x1080. The gif image is not centered on the screen but fill out the whole screen. Any idea what I could do to center the gif? Thanks Juergen

It seems that on the market there are facial recognition solutions that automatically pick up when the person is in front of the tablet, but it’s really expensive (It’s a french product, you can look at https://linote.fr/). For a start, I’m just thinking about a big button that blinks, and it picks up when you press it. For the people we’re helping, it would be a step forward. To call someone, it could be a voice command. You press the button, you say the name of the person, and the voice recognition will call the concerned person. Thanks for your link, I’ll look at it!

Hello, is there any modular that casts my mobile screen ( not only YouTube, everything i see on my mobile screen will be casted on the mirror ).

I would like to build a mirror that shows as much information as possible about the stock market, news, and weather. What modules would you recommend? I’ve tried a few but they seem to be lacking in detail, or update frequency. having word of the day, inspirational quotes (from reddit), would be nice too! i am not interested in calendar, tasks etc as i have all those on my ipad, computer, etc also visual suggestions for a layout on a 20 inch screen would be awesome. i would buy a touchscreen if i can drill down say into stocks or news by touching the headlines. also, is it possible to activate only if i am looking at it? or say with gestures (i raise 5 fingers it displays stock only) thanks for your thoughts.w
