I know this sounds very crazy an idea, but could anyone enlighten me how to insert a window where by I could have displayed the raspberry Pi version of Minecraft… it will really make this interesting for my kids :D

After looking around I found the Wunderlist module and used that to add a “Menu” list. I can put in a Todo item as the Day - Menu and set it to be due on that day. nice part about it is that anyone who has access to the list can add items or check them off as done using their phones and it updates on the mirror.

@derekhuffman it’s fine to post it here :) You could do this to ways. Have a module that’s checking a GPIO Pin with a sound sensor, the module could then trigger a relay or turn on the HDMI output. That would work if the monitor does not need to be turned off completely (I would turn it off to save energy). With this approach you would have the information that’s it is turned on available in the MagicMirror system if you don’t need that (you probably don’t), you could also go for a hardware only solution, Google “activate relay if sound is detected” for that. The best method would be to just use a PIR-Sensor or is their any reason you want sound detection?

@KirAsh4 agree! Looking forward to a pull request. ;) I think a general maxNumberOfDays would be enough. I don’t think there are many cases you would need this to be on feed basis. insert why not both meme
