@saifkazi more detailed information is needed.

      1. Is your mobile phone is in the same network with your MM? (e.g. in your house)
      2. If not, you need static IP or DDNS service for your MM for accessing from outside network.

No I am in the same network and I can’t access it with public IP of my router. I was able to access it before but now I can’t access it .

@saifkazi If your mobile phone and MM are in same network, ipWhitelist in your config could be the problem. currently, many problems about ipWhitelist are reported. See the forum topics about that.(use search about ‘ipWhitelist’)

This problem started after updating mm and installing remote control

@saifkazi Others reported the same issue about that. I think you’d better wait for this new upgrade being more stable. I believe @Jopyth could make hotfix as soon.

TLDR: You need to enable listening to all addresses (see the comment on the Github issue) in addition to the usual adaptation of the ipWhitelist. Add this line to your config.js:

                    address: "0.0.0.0",

                    Related topic.

Since MagicMirror 2.1.3, the webserver only listens to the loopback interface be default. This removes any possible attack on the webserver for most users (not that their are any known attacks right now, but in times of mirai it is a good thing!), but unfortunately also effectively stops accessing the MagicMirror through HTTP and how the remote module currently works. If any developer has a good idea how to combine the best of both worlds, please let me know.

@saifkazi I suggest you update again and try it out.

So I have the same issues. I was wondering if there has been any developments on this subject over the past few months. Have any workarounds been discovered so I can finally remote access my Magic Mirror?
