Huh. Well, now the images uploaded properly. Yay!
This one has the remote access code on it and I’ve already modified the compliments file to fit their house. They love it and they are the only people in their town to have one!

Nice miter and router work. 5 Star bro!
Now, how the hell did you wind up with different sizes on your monitor and glass???

@Mykle1 - Remember when I mentioned the dumb mistakes? Yeah.
I cut the pieces for the box to go around the monitor and put them roughly in place around the monitor for a test fit. I moved the pieces aside and then moved the monitor away and pushed the pieces back. Unfortunately… when I put the pieces back I screwed up the orientation of which piece butted into which other piece. So instead of having the sides capped by the top & bottom, I had the top & bottom capped by the sides. Then I measured the box & ordered the mirror.
So the glass that arrived was too wide and too short. Instead of re-ordering the glass, I ordered another monitor and had to drop a size in order for it to fit. So… yeah, the monitor isn’t the full size of the glass.
On the positive side, there is enough room above the monitor to mount the camera behind the glass. So it’s invisible to the family. On the downside… the screen isn’t as large as it could be and the backlight on the monitor lets you easily see the transition from monitor to construction paper. :(

Technically, remote SSH access into the mirror through their firewall. It’s not really a code so much as an encrypted passkey.
