Haha, thanks b! I’ll take a look.

You do realize that I’ve done quite a few of those already? :-)
-
@mykle1 - Yes. Yes, I have. But I’m hoping you have an addiction to catc… er, code 'em all.

I have several. ;-)
I threw together a companion module to MMM-MARS using one of the API’s from your link. For everyone that needs to know the weather on Mars. (Me). I don’t know how reliable the data is going to be but I learned how to make an array (in the node_helper) and push it to the the module.js. I needed to do that in order to rotate the data. So, the simplest of modules but very rewarding because I learned something new.
https://github.com/mykle1/MMM-MARS-Weather
It’s only the very last line that rotates through 8 objects of data. SolDate, season, min and max air temp, atmospheric conditions (Sunny), min and max ground temp, sunrise and sunset at the rover’s locaton. A little css put it right under MARS

I can’t wait for next full moon to hear the wolf audio.
Your wait should be over. MMM-Lunartic just reported a full moon accurately and played the howling wolf sound file as expected.
I forgot I added that and was surprised when the audio played. Fun and pretty cool!

Dear @Mykle1,
since yesterday, I do not get the current picture of the moon anymore, although I did not touch the MMM-Lunartic config. If I do, I can display other info - but not the current image.I completely removed and reinstalled the module - but that did not solve the problem. I can open the direct link to the current NASA picture from the .js file - so it does not seem, that my IP is blocked from their side.
Do you have any idea, how to get the current picture of the moon back?

Hi,
Yes, I am aware of this problem and am working to correct it. I asked for help in a topic. Hopefully someone will give me some input on fixing it. Otherwise, it will be some time before I can get that working again. In the meantime, don’t use “current or DayNight” as your image in the config entry

This is what I’m up against at the moment. Try contacting the US Navy and telling them their API for moon images is not configured properly. This should be fun.

@mykle1 I also had to set an “exception”, as the HTTPS Certificate does not match. Maybe there is an option to ignore this threat.
