Hello,
Can you had language selection in node_helper.js or config.js
url: ‘https://api.themoviedb.org/3/discover/movie?primary_release_date.gte=’ + start + ‘&primary_release_date.lte=’ + end + ‘&api_key=’ + this.config.api_key + ‘&language=fr-FR’
Perfect work, thank you
-
sorry forgot about your post
the problem is that the fields which are not provided in the selected language don’t have anymore a fallback to english (like in previous api versions) and therefore will be empty, that’s why I chose to take allways english, so all data is provided.
But I can add a config option, so everyone can decide for himself

@strawberry-3.141 Thanks

Changelog
new config options:
* hide genre
* hide rating
* hide plot
* use language from config instead of default english, this can have missing data from api -
You are the best

nice module. I have this starting hidden and then voice command it to show. I’ve also changed the start and end dates for it to show stuff in cinema now and removed the greyscale from the poster. Good job making this module

@number1dan Hi, Module working fine, how to get Indian Movies info
-
@shashank as far as i can see this is not supported with this provider to choose a country. i guess you need a different api provider

Hi, I just recently discovered MM2 & have started on putting it together. This is a fresh install of MM2 & the MovieInfo module however the module is not getting the images.
This is my config.js{ module: 'MMM-MovieInfo', position: 'bottom_left', config: { api_key: "" } },The module shows everything but the image or Poster art. Inspecting the page in Google Chrome results in this appearing:
GET https://image.tmdb.org/t/p/w185_and_h278_bestv2/undefined 404 ()Further examination of the movieinfo.js file shows
const poster = document.createElement('img'); poster.classList.add('poster'); poster.src = `https://image.tmdb.org/t/p/w185_and_h278_bestv2/${movie.posterPath}`; wrapper.appendChild(poster);here’s a SS via vnc:

How can I fix this issue? I know nothing of javascript or programming unfortunately so baby steps in explaining a fix please :) -
@SilentJbob1680
For some reason they changed the variable containing the path to the image fromposterPathtoposter_pathYou could change this
const poster = document.createElement('img'); poster.classList.add('poster'); poster.src = `https://image.tmdb.org/t/p/w185_and_h278_bestv2/${movie.posterPath}`; wrapper.appendChild(poster);to this
const poster = document.createElement('img'); poster.classList.add('poster'); poster.src = `https://image.tmdb.org/t/p/w185_and_h278_bestv2/${movie.poster_path}`; wrapper.appendChild(poster);for an immediate fix, or you could wait for strawberry to fix it on github and provide a new version. If you fix it on your own you will need to revert the changes before you can update once strawberry provided the update.

should be fixed now. thanks for reporting

Hello.
I seem to be having issues in setting up the correct config.js. What am I doing wrong? Here is the code I am trying to use.
{ module: 'MMM-MovieInfo', position: 'bottom_left', config: { discover: { "certification_country": "US", "certification.lte": "G", "sort_by": "popularity.desc" } updateInterval: '1080000', rotateInterval: '180000', api_key: ' ' } }, -
@Jacob missing comma after
discover: {} -
Hi there! Would there be a possibility to have a config option to set the number of movies to show (as a configurable table)?
Also, I read that they now support TV-Shows as well… It would be cool to get that integrated as well :)Ex something like this would be cool…
config: { columns: 2, titles: 6, type: { "tv": 1, "movie": 1, } discover: { "sort_by": "vote_average.desc" } }That would give a table that holds 2 columns with 6 rows altering TV-Shows and Movies, descending by votes… 8)

@strawberry-3.141 Thanks for the help. However, it still did not seem to fix it. It’s only the MovieInfo module that seems to be causing the mirror to not load. Would it be possible to show me your MovieInfo config?
