-
@JohnGalt i dont see mmm-gas in the loaded modules list
-
@sdetweil – True. I’m not sure why that is. I will try reinstalling it.

@sdetweil
@cowboysdude
So i reinstalled this module, and it still does not display on the Magic Mirror. [It now it does appear to load the module:
0|MagicMirror | [2024-09-30 16:19:22.987] [LOG] Connecting socket for: MMM-Gas 0|MagicMirror | [2024-09-30 16:19:22.988] [LOG] Starting module: MMM-Gas
And check the status of the module along with others:
0|MagicMirror | [2024-09-30 16:19:32.585] [INFO] Newsfeed-Fetcher: Broadcasting 38 items. 0|MagicMirror | [2024-09-30 16:19:32.936] [INFO] Checking git for module: MMM-Pollen 0|MagicMirror | [2024-09-30 16:19:33.379] [INFO] Checking git for module: MMM-Gas 0|MagicMirror | [2024-09-30 16:19:33.570] [INFO] Newsfeed-Fetcher: Broadcasting 30 items. 0|MagicMirror | [2024-09-30 16:19:33.724] [INFO] Checking git for module: MMM-DynamicWeather 0|MagicMirror | [2024-09-30 16:19:34.030] [INFO] Checking git for module: MagicMirror
But there is still something missing.
Could it has something to do with the dependency issues?

@JohnGalt
Have you made any progress figuring this out? I am having the same problem. The module loads but doesn’t show that it is getting any data. -
@DDE12 – No, still nothing displayed from this module.
-
@JohnGalt @sdetweil it seems that the website doesn’t provide the data anymore. This is an URL that is build in the module:
https://www.autoblog.com/14904-gas-prices/
it results in a 404:
-
@MarcLandis yes, that’s what I found too when I tried accessing the data directly. I was confused though that there is/was no error in the pm2 logs…
-
@JohnGalt most modules do not handle or report errors
-
@sdetweil – Huh, good to know. Thanks.
-
@MarcLandis
That is unfortunate. I looked around a bit to see if there is another option but did not find anything free. (:
