Thank you, I appreciate it!
The weather modules are both default but I changed the icons to animated ones:
https://www.amcharts.com/free-animated-svg-weather-icons/ -
@thedoorsfanatic hi, can you please share details, how to change icons? Just replace files in folder? How you make the “hw” - frameless mirror?
thanks
Zdeněk -
@zdenek
I downloaded the animated icon set from amcharts and copied them to a folder named “icons” in the css folder. Then I made changes to my custom.css.For example:
.currentweather .wi-day-sunny { content: url("/css/icons/day.svg"); } .weatherforecast .wi-day-sunny { content: url("/css/icons/day.svg"); height: 48px; margin-top: -6px; margin-left: -6px; } **Change these numbers depending on your layout -
@thedoorsfanatic great, thanks
and how did you made frame-less mirror? there is no frame …
thanks, Zdeněk

@zdenek
I just glued the mirror to the edge of the monitor with this Pattex:

Since the glass is just 4mm thick it is not that heavy
-
@thedoorsfanatic ok, so another question - how did you “glue” it on the wall?
-
Again, pretty simple, with this: https://amzn.to/2C7513z
-
@thedoorsfanatic great, thanks
-
You are welcome !
-
@zdenek Very nice looking and result.
As often in mirror showcase, the back is not shown ( yes that’s often the ugly part as well I know :) ) but I think it is interesting to see how all hardware are implemented in the back .
Would you mind to share some pictures of the back ?
Thanks
-
Since there is no frame there is also no actual back besides the backside of the monitor.
The Raspi is sitting on a shelf below the mirror -
Quick update:

Hi there…looks great! What module did you use for the countdown?
-
Thanks a lot!
I used MMM-CountDown:
https://github.com/boazarad/MMM-CountDown -
Now also with Local Transport module:

New update with PIR sensor and new modules: Wunderlist to-dos, SoccerLiveScore & fuel prices in a range of a certain distance to my home:

Looks good, can I ask what kind of glassed you used. For me I want someting a little more Mirror like…your’s looks good but appeakrs not so reflective? A little more like clear acrylic.
Which PIR module did you use? and With PIR hardware?
-
@dxfan227
Thanks a lot!
I used Mirropane™ Chrome Spy glas, 4 mm thick, next time I might get 6 mm.
PIR hardware: https://amzn.to/2YNSxYr
Module: https://github.com/paviro/MMM-PIR-Sensor -
I integrated two new modules into my MagicMirror:
-
MMM-GoogleFit
