@1a2a3a Google’s security changes would have to be handled by the author of the widgets… If you’re just a user, likely nothing will have to change.
Likely, it’ll be something along the lines of a new loop in the software to provide specific authorization to photos.
No big deal.
@sdetweil With git reset ... everything is reset hard, this fixes the problem, but does not help to explain it. I haven’t fully understood myself why git pull didn’t worked after git stash.
@1a2a3a means it was not accidental. it’s not trivial to maintain visual fidelity across multiple rendering platforms and aspect ratio changes.
the module author(s) chose not to attempt that
@bhepler maybe. it’s a thing to try
pm2 stop all
npm run server
and use your browser to localhost:mm_ip_port
turning off the title bar etc is a task for the user!!!
I have a setup to do this automatically using npm start if it works.
Decided to drop this for now guys. The new monitor is a 27 qhd compared to the previous 24 fhd. With the extra real estate, everything doesn’t seems to be so cluttered now.
@1a2a3a I think you’d better repost this as another new topic. (“Setting 2 default calendar modules; but weird represent”)
We are out of the original topic; ppl who don’t have an interest in CX3 will not see this thread.
@MMRIZE I left my mirror on with the background. Will it auto reset on its own or down I have to disable the module and enable and restart the mirror tml? I assumed letting it sit there with a black background and let it auto refresh is fine?
@1a2a3a - One of the modules that I maintain is MMM-WeatherBackground. It will put a background image on your mirror and change it up according to what your weather app forecasts.
I find that the key feature is the ability to set the transparency of the background image. That way you can adjust how much of the background image is present vs the reflection that you see.
