@_V_ You could try this module: https://github.com/Unclearogre/MMM-CustomTable I wrote it to be a simple legend underneath my monthly calendar to show which color corresponds to which calendar. I’m not sure how you’d easily update the info though. Google sheets might be the way to go. Depending on how much time you have to spend on this, you could try using AI to create a module.

Hey again folks So I set the dimming to 1.0 ( even tried a higher number ) but thr screen is still pretty bright in the hallway. The dimming function works in general but like said, its not completely black like mentioned in the doc. I also reduced brightness of my screen just to double check, but that wasnt it. Any ideas or is it just not possible to darken the screen to the “off” level?

Sam, nevermind the problem; I found a sentence in a different question on git, in which it is mentioned shortly; also its kind of written in a config, believe it was the ext3 config. Still a bit annoying that you have to make an entry for the color and on another spot/file you have to set the custom event up. Thanks for your continuous help mate.

@_V_ My module MMM-PresenceScreenControl Offers a comfortable way to switch on or off during defined times - as much as you like per day as much days as you like. Regards, Ralf

That solved the problem. Thank you sir If anyone cares: “CW” is shown even after correct/different local settings because it´s written as element in the stylesheet from calendarEXT3, so you have to change the term there.

@UncleRoger – +1 on having a separate Magic Mirror instance for development (“dev instance”)! I have a small virtual machine running Magic Mirror where I can try out changes or new modules without disturbing my main instance. I don’t bother with a monitor, just display it on my desktop.
