    • RE: MMM-iFrameReload browser issues

      Still having weird issues…the 932L camera iFrame shows right away but seems to disappear after a bit…the 5030L camera throws the error but if you start with nom start dev and use the user agent switcher to change to Firefox and then hit ctrl-f5 to refresh then that window works…for a bit…but it eventually disappears too…I have no idea how to refresh the browser unless the dev console is running…

      Having any IP cam feeds running in this Ubuntu install may be a pipe dream for me

    • RE: MMM-iFrameReload browser issues

      Solved for the D-Link 932L removing user authentication in D-Link setup

      The D-Link 5030L still throws the error but I think it uses a different video compression.

      @justjim1220 yes it does and that is what it hanging it up…
      If I use http://user:pass@IPADDRESS:PORT_NUMBER/mjpeg.cgi I get that error in red letters on the mirror.
      If I use http://IPADDRESS:PORT_NUMBER/mjpeg.cgi?user=[USERNAME]&password=[PASSWORD] I get a 401: authorization required error in the console

    • MMM-iFrameReload browser issues

      Trying to display my D-Link camera feed in MMM-iFrameReload
      I get a display that says:

      The browser you are using may have difficulty receiving images and video. If you experience any issues viewing this page, we suggest using Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, or Apple Safari.

      The console gives a deprecation warning about websites that need a username/password to login.

      Any workaround or fix for this?

    • RE: Vera Edge Gateway

      @nwootton Thanks for the explanation! So basically right now, I’m using the Vera as the brains, but what I could do is install HomeAssistant to be the brains and the Vera just be the controller for the Z-wave stuff…
      Now…I’m about to look further into your alpha module! :)

    • RE: Vera Edge Gateway

      @nwootton I have a Vera lite which controls 4 light switches, one door lock, garage door opener and one outlet for now through voice commands on my Amazon Echo using the Vera skill. I’ve looked at OpenHAB and HomeAssistant (possibly to install as dockers on my Synology) but wondering what is the benefit of using these?

      Nice module by the way!

    • RE: Changing physical sizes of different modules. Everything's too big!

      @Diareactic no problem! play with the zoom til you get the right number you like. Been doing this for over a year and there are still things I bash my head in trying to figure out but sometimes you just know someone has a quick answer! LOL

      First off, you are probably right about the weather not showing if you haven’t inputted your own info. Don’t worry, its all not that big of a learning curve! You have some info showing so that is good!!

      Recently I just learned about playing with zoom in your custom.css

      Try adding
      body {
      zoom: 70%;
      }

      to your custom.css file and see if that makes things a little more manageable in size for ya

      there is nothing in my custom.css file referencing any regions
      This was working just fine…and it doesn’t matter where I move those two modules now they are both aligning centre for some reason

    • Align to the left!

      I’m sure this is probably easily fixed by a CSS command…but wondering why my calendar module and Wunderlist module in the top left have decided to centre their items? They were aligned to the left before so not sure what caused them to shift?
