This wasn’t my real intention to use the small screen for MM but you know how things go. My issue is all the default modules are all in the middle and on top of each other.
The display is TFT Resistive Touch, 320x480. I purchased it from Amazon. Kuman 3.5” Display.
At first glance I didn’t see config setting to change font size for modules. Also, haven’t been able to get the settings config to work for the display.

So I put the film on my tv monitor and it looks ok but not great. Two things, first the display is so bright you lose a lot of the mirror affect I believe, second I think because the film is not on a piece of glass the wrong side of the film is facing forward. Going to try on a LED monitor and try a piece of Plexiglas.

@mykle1 Thats the funny part. I did run the config:check and it found no errors. Thanks for checking into this. I’ll take a stab at it tomorrow.

After doing git and adding config my MagicMirror will not start and goes to black screen and I can’t exit out. I have to power down Pi to start over. Here is a picture of what I get. Since it locks me out I have to video tape the screen and then capture the picture.

@justjim1220 Jim, nevermind. I got it working. Helps to put it in the modules directory. Looks great! Thanks for all your help. Now to see what else I can break. Need to learn more about how to program this stuff.

@justjim1220 Deleted directory and did the git pull && npm. Now NewsFeedTicker isn’t working at all. It’s in config.js and looks just like it did before.

Has anyone tried to apply two way mirror film directly to a monitor/display screen instead of putting it on glass then putting the monitor/display behind it?

I got the logo fixed.

Where in the config are you able to make the News logo and the scrolling text smaller.

How do you change the default compliments. Where are they. I don’t see them under compliments module. They must be somewhere if they are showing up when MM is running.

@thestigh I’ll try this. It looks different then what is supplied by MM. I think i have the syntax wrong and haven’t learned yet how to do the coding. Thanks.
