@plainbroke I logged into Life360 from a PC with a browser. There should be a developer tools browser option that shows all the API calls being made. Check for calls to Life360 and look for an Authorization request header with a bearer token. You just need to add that token to the MM config.

@plainbroke I’m using a free account and it works. The user token has been working for over a week without being revoked.

I’ve used MMM-Teslamate and forked version of MMM-TeslamateLocation for quite some time but since I have 2 Teslas, it requires a total of four instances of these modules so I thought that I would merge them together. I also recently created MMM-GeneralMotorsEV so I tried to make the visual style the same so they looked very similar next to each other on a MagicMirror. It still requires Teslamate to feed mqtt events.

I’ve come to love and rely on the MMM-Teslamate module and wanted something similar for our new GM EV. While GM doesn’t have an official public API, it’s possible to extract long-lived user tokens and use the same API as the app. Since GM utilizes a bunch of firewall rules on top of their crappy API, it’s nowhere near as useful or timely as Tesla API calls. The API often returns 429s but YMMV. To get a user token, it’s easiest to use https://github.com/metheos/onstar_firefox.

I created a module for the Life360 app. There isn’t an official public API but using a token extracted via developer tools in your browser seems to work fine when set in the module config. The tokens are long-running so unless you explicitly logout, it should continue to work. Hope you find this useful :)

I was having issues with getting rtsp streams from my Frigate NVR to reliably show as I wanted them so I decided to let AI create a module for me that uses WebRTC and it’s much simpler. I’m using it only to show a birdseye view from Frigate rather than multiple individual cameras but it’s working well for me so far but wanted to share.

@svenpisa I created this module based on the OpenWeatherForecastDeluxe project but the backend AccuWeather API is obviously different than the OpenWeather API. It only supports forecasts for a couple different time periods. It could be updated to filter those however, the big issue at the moment is the upcoming deprecation of the free limited license for the API. There will soon be only a 14-day trial and paid licenses which $25 a month appears to be the cheapest which is a no-go.

@rkorell I can autohide the taskbar but when it hides, it takes the MPlayer window with it.

Also, I have 2 windows, one RTSP stream from Frigate in each, but there is a lot of extra space between them and above the first window. Would also like to get rid of the MPLAYER header if possible.

@clakkentt I’m having the same issues on my rpi4. How did you hide the taskbar?

Anyone happen to know where I can find MMM-FreeboxTV?

Also looking to stream a camera feed from Frigate. It looks like MMM-FreeboxTV would have worked but can’t find that anywhere.

I may have spoken too soon. It has been working for about 12 hours but just froze on MMM-MyStandings so maybe that module has a similar issue.

I actually removed MMM-MyScoreboard from the scenario prior to your post and you are right that it’s the module causing the issue. That module seems dormant so I may try to see if I can fork it and try to fix it.

I added MMM-LogExt and attached the log around the time the scenario switching stops.
