      You can just drag it into the MagicMirror folder. No need to issue any terminal commands if you don’t have to.

    • RE: Hello-Lucy Install Part 5 Unable to resolve dependency tree

      @desert-rat

      Just verifying:

      Did you run npm install in the Hello Lucy folder? Normally, this would be correct, but not in this case.

      The proper way of installing dependencies for Hello Lucy are as follows:

      • cd into the Hello-Lucy/installers folder

      • run bash dependencies.sh

      I noticed you put, disabled: false, as per below in your post, can you expand on what that does

      This is an easy way to enable or disable a module when MM launches, without say, commenting out the entire module’s entry or removing the entry from the config altogether.

      So, for the module to load at MM launch

      disabled: false,

      For the module NOT to load at MM launch

      disabled: true,

      but when i opened the city ID list in wordpad, the list is all scrambled in like wingdigs font.

      Open it in a different text editor, or better yet, a code editor. For example, ‘Atom’, ‘notepad++’, et al.

      Have you tried to contact the author? Someone posted an issue on the repo today. Was that you? The repo hasn’t been updated for 4 months, and that was just the readMe file. I don’t recognize the name of the owner of the repo. Lets see if he appears.

      The module is erroring in the console, thus, the constant "Loading . . " message

      Read the post above this one. It explains why this module stopped working. It is now fully functional, once again.

      Hmm, I don’t know about that, Sammo. My BMW-DS weather is still working using an old Darksky api key. I’ve been waiting for it to fail, knowing the end is near.
