@MyMirror use pm2 to launch your script. it will launch as the user see pm2 --help after the appropriate pm2 start do pm2 save to have that task launched at boot

@mymirror Hi the problem lies in the new root certificate from Letsencrypt (the old one expired as planned) and has to be fixed by an update on MagicMirror.

@mymirror Funny story. Last Thursday I found the same issue in the production code of a project I am working on in my real live job, which lead to an really wired issue. That was the biggest facepalm ever:weary_face: And the ultra sonic sensor is clicking itself. The sensor is just a speaker and an microphone. The speaker is clicking constantly and the microphone is picking up the clicking. I am pretty jung, it would drive me crazy if I have to sleep, or stay here the sensor for a long time. But with increasing age humans won’t hear it anymore. But I think animals like cats, dogs, birds, … do hear it better. The more you know :sign_of_the_horns:

I have found that I need to slow down and read the entire readme… many modules require “npm install”… that right there is more than 1/2 of the errors ;) I’m so glad you came to ask for help! I know it’s hard to do at times… I know myself I have an extremely difficult time asking for help… BUT just remember when you’re new at this go slow… take your time :) If you get into trouble just ask. HUGE suggestion… when you have a working config.js you should make a copy of it before you change anything in it… that way if you get into trouble you have a backup that you know works! Easy in a terminal window: ~MagicMirror/config cp config.js config.bak That’s all there is to it! :) Then you’re safe!
