Just a suggestion that I give all new people… before you make changes to a working config.js make a copy of it… that way if you can’t figure out or you need something to compare it to you have your backup :)

Excellent advice, and I agree. We were just trying to get him a working config.js in the first place

Is it necessary to rename the config.js to config.js.sample every time you want to modify it?
Or is there a simpler manipulation.

            yes now i do this !! i have a copy of my config.js ;)

@Fonfon - No, you don’t have to rename your config.js file to edit it but you might want to back it up BEFORE you edit it. This way, if anything goes wrong you’re safe

@Fonfon – Double click your config.js file. It will open. Do your editing, then choose Save from the File menu

Execute npm install to install the node dependencies.

                                          hello

i edit that: sudo nano /boot/config.txt
                                          where i add the line:
                                          display-rotate=1

                                          under frame ? hdmi ??

because when i save and reboot no rotating

                                          thanks.
