I am using and loving your module! Unfortunately I’ve found a bug with your module running together with the MMM-Carousel. I have three MMM-Soccer module configs, one for Germany, one for England and one for Spain. My idea was to show every table for 3 seconds and then move on to the next one.

But I encountered this problem: It always shows me the same league. Now a played with it and set the max_team value for these leagues to different values and it perfectly changes the amount of teams to the correct value, but always with the same teams for the same leagues.

So I guess the problem could be that when the show method gets called it does not reload the league (or get it out of a cache).

I tried to fix it but I am not a javasript guru so I didn’t find the problem code. Do you have an idea how to make the module reload the league data?

@TheSwissGuy Grüezi Stephan,

I guess nearly all modules have this kind of issue, as there is only one node_helper for those 3 modules which is uesed by all 3 module instances. the node_helper sends back the data and all 3 listen on it which ends in the same league for every instance. I will see if i can find time to handle this issue.

Do you use the newest version? Did you set some old league codes in the config?

@davidrq7 I installed the module and inserted the following config in my config.js file, which gives me the expected result of the current season.

Hi all,
has anyone found a possibility to show just two teams of the same league?
I want to show just two teams of the german first division.
I tryed:

				
config: {
	api_key: "XXXX",
	focus_on: {"GERMANY": "1. FC Köln","GERMANY": "FC Schalke 04"},
	max_teams: 2
}

but then the focus is only on the second team.
With

config: {
	api_key: "XXXXX",
	focus_on: {"GERMANY": "1. FC Köln","FC Schalke 04"},
	max_teams: 2
}

I get an config error.

It would be great if anyone knows a solution.

Do you think its a possibility to copy the whole MMM-soccer module, and build a version that just shows the team without the league and gameday information, than npm rebuild. and use this module directly under the original module, to just show the second team.

@jules because the teams are in the same league, you can just copy your config entry and place in the other team in focus_on. Then you have to create some css rules in custom.css to hide the header and so on

But I have currently also the problem with “focus_on” and an team with “ö / ä / ü”
Any solution available?

@Babene1 By using your config, the team FC Bayern München is highlighted. For me everything works as expected.

Can you describe what happens exactly on your side?

ok it is crazy.
on my test/development mirror with windows 10 don’t work. No result with focus_on: {'GERMANY': 'FC Bayern München'},

but on my main mirror on the raspberry it works perfect.

so no further investigation.
