I have the same problem. Also did everything from this thread.

Have I made a mistake here?
Or what is the reason?

I have the same problem. I did perform “nmp install” and “npm install onoff” in the MMM-Button folder.
And the fix from Nonamexp. But the screen after a reboot is white. :-(
