code: ‘MODULE_NOT_FOUND’ sounds like you misspelled the module name in the config

Please create a github issue if you need help, so I can keep track

I checked the double checked the spelling. Everthing is correct.
        The screen stays white…

        I tried node serveronly

        pi@raspberrypi:~/MagicMirror $ node serveronly

That tells me you didn’t read the instructions, because step 2, under Installation, it specifically says to run 'npm install' which would’ve taken care of installing onoff for you. I find it helps when I follow the author’s instructions.

            https://github.com/PtrBld/MMM-Button#installation

A Life? Cool! Where can I download one of those from?

              @KirAsh4

I read the instruction and I executed the nmp install in the MagicMirror folder and thought that onoff would be installed automaticly.
But I had to execute npm install onoff extra in the MagicMirror folder to get the module run.

Maybe there should a step 3, that tells you to execute npm install onoff .

              Sebastian

No, the instructions, as written, are accurate. You missed the last bit of Step 1:

                1. Navigate into your MagicMirror’s modules folder and execute git clone https://github.com/ptrbld/MMM-Button.git.**`A new folder will appear navigate into it.`**
                2. Execute npm install to install the node dependencies.

Had you done that last bit, you would be executing the next step from within the button module folder, not within the MagicMirror folder.

A Life? Cool! Where can I download one of those from?

Ahhh, okay, that´s an explanation why I have sometimes problems with some modules.

                  Thank you.

It can be a confusing, sometimes damn near frustrating landscape to maneuver. Glad you got it to work though.
