PM2 for server mode
What must I do to use pm2 to launch in server mode at boot?
My eventual goal is to have multiple instances running server mode on multiple ports. As I understand it I need to copy the MagicMirror directory for each instance and change ports.
But how can I launch them at boot with PM2?
Thank you!

RE: Request To Modify MMM-json
Thank you both! I’ll check in to those ASAP
And If anyone else may be willing I would love to see if we could work out a reasonable price!

Request To Modify MMM-json
I have a request that I will pay someone to modify the exiting module mmm-json.
I’m currently pulling life360 data from my Homeseer home automation controller and it has all the data I need, but I want to make some of it conditional.
The data is in this format:
Name Home or Away Location In-TransitAnd it does not include column headers (and I don’t need them)
So the data looks like this:
Joe Home Rose Steet No
Sally Away I95 Yes
George Away Main Steet NoWhat I would like it to do is only display Home or Away if Home. And if Away display the location. And the yes no for intransit should be In-Transit for Yes and blank for no
So the sample data would look like this:
Joe Home
Sally I95 In-Transit
George Main StreetI would love to discuss a reasonable pri ce for this. Please reply or msg me.
Thank you!

RE: MMM-MyGarbage
I just updated my MMM-MyGarbage module today and it is no longer working. I only get “Loading …”.
Does anyone else have this issue or any ideas? Nothing has changed on myside other than the update.

RE: MMM-Events
Since the Eventful API has been terminated has anyone considered making something similar for PredictHQ or something else?

RE: Developer Wanted To Modify Default Newsfeed Module
@MMRIZE the feed I linked will be the final feed.
Please tell me how I can pay you

RE: Developer Wanted To Modify Default Newsfeed Module
@MMRIZE Thank you! And of course I would love to pay you for your time.
I do have a question. This works with the first RSS feed I tried but not the next. I validated the feed using a few online validators and the feed seems ok but it is never picked up.
The feed is here:
https://www.ccwky.org/parser/parser.phpWhat is the best way to send payment?

RE: Developer Wanted To Modify Default Newsfeed Module
@MMRIZE
Thanks for the reply!
Yes, with the image, however I want to display in list view (like the newsfeed module can do as well).Regarding removing words, I only want to remove words, not remove the article. For example, one of the RSS feeds has a link that says Get Tickets. I would like the feed to not display Get Tickets on the mirror.

Developer Wanted To Modify Default Newsfeed Module
I would like to discuss prices with a developer to make make a new module based on the default newsfeed module with the following changes.
Display image(s) included in the RSS feed.
Add the ability to remove phrases from the description. For example, if the words “Get Ticket” appears in the description remove those words from the description. -
RE: Best bet for those not technically inclined?
Thanks for the reply.
I don’t live there, and I will take your advice and leave it alone if it is working.
-
Best bet for those not technically inclined?
I’m building a Magic Mirror for a family that is not technically inclined and I want to proactively minimize the tech support they will need to keep this going.
What are my best bets?
Maybe write a script that updates all modules as was as magic mirror on every reboot?
Maybe run a client and setup a server in my home and point the client to that?

RE: MMM-Gas Still Working?
@strawberry-3-141
That fixed it! Thank you!
I copied and pasted the clone command from Github and had no idea why it would not work.
Thanks again!

RE: MMM-Gas Still Working?
{ module: 'MMM-Gas', position: 'top_left', config: { zip : "40391", typeGas: "", //can be "mid-grade", "premium", or "diesel". Leave blank for regular gas prices sortBy: "price", //can be "distance" or "price" items: "10", //number of gas stations to display distance: false //to hide distance column } }, -
RE: MMM-Gas Still Working?
For some reason mine isn’t working. I don’t see any errors with npm start dev and my config.sys checks out with npm run config:check
Could you try for zipcode 40391 and see if that works for you? Maybe there are just no results?
