    • MMM-Openhab

      Description:

      Full control of your Openhab System using (touchscreen, mouse or touchpad (but that’s only the beginning)

      The module displays all values from your Openhab sitemap. You can also change
      all values and switches (like lites, temperature and s.o.)

    • RE: I need help!!!!

      @danwitz65 ok, lets fix it step by step:

      1. Rotate the screen (works for all normal displays, not for pi special and touchscreens)

      Open a terminal and login to your pi

      sudo nano /boot/config.txt
      move all the way down to the end of the file
      add the line: display_rotate=3
      Press ctrl + o to save and ctrl + x to exit the file

      Now do a reboot and you should have a screen tilted by the number of your desire:

      0 = 0 degrees (the default value)
      1 = 90 degrees
      2 = 180 degrees
      3 = 270 degrees

      That’s it! Quick and easy.

    • Additional Info for each module

      Hello,
      the last weeks i spended lots of time testing modules and so many of them are realy
      great ( a few are grab 😉 ) but thats also ok. But during all the testing i found out that
      its very very important to select the fitting hardware.
      For example:
      I develop on a Raspi P3B nice little machine and can handle a lot but not everything.
      So this wunderfull modules MMM-voice i impossible to use on a PI much too slow.
      On an old laptop with ubuntu it runs perfect.
      I found this result fits too a lot of modules they work perfect ok fast cpu but not on a
      simple one.
      So my suggestion is:
      If every module developer puts an information at the beginning of his readme to tell
      the cpu where the module was developed and a recommendation.
      like.
      DEV-CPU: INTEL xyz with Ubuntu 16.04
      REC-CPU: same or faster

      I think this would keep a lot of people from getting unhappy with great module on a
      slow cpu.

      So what do u all think about this idea???

      Take care
      Robert

    • RE: SMA/Sunny portal Solar Module

      @Magic_Pi U would like something like this?
      0_1515342151875_snip2.png

      This is Openhab 2 (has a binding for SMA) integrated to MM with MMM-Openhab.

      (Dont worry about the German language, my Openhab is German)
