ah, I see
Did you change something in custom.css or main.css?
Or is your screen completely offset?
If you quit MagicMirror and go back to desktop or terminal, is this shifted too?
Read the statement by Michael Teeuw here.

Could you please take a picture of this?

RE: Display more than one news article?
@wrumble
If you need help from other developers feel free to post your code or a link to your github repository for technical troubleshooting. -
RE: How To Add IFRAME Code to Calendar
Okay, fair enough. Then you could use the iframe module (or the hello world module) with your iframe code.
I’m on my mobile phone currently, I will put some code down tomorrow if no one else did in the meantime. -
RE: How To Add IFRAME Code to Calendar
I’m not really sure what you want to accomplish.
Do you want to see the prayer thing on your mirror? Or do you want to add the prayer entries to your calendar? -

RE: MM2 launch without internet
I never set up one of these on a raspberry, but that should work if reception is good.

RE: MM2 launch without internet
You could, but that won’t change anything, because you still need to make sure it connects to the wifi around.
Or are you talking about a wireless wan (umts/3g) stick? -
RE: Starter problem
@kurt
This command will create a file called mirror.tar in your home directory on your raspberry. You can copy/transfer it to your computer with filezilla, the same way you did to copy new files to your raspberry -
RE: Starter problem
@kurt
I would create an archive of the entire magicmirror folder.cd ~ tar -cvf mirror.tar /MagicMirror -
RE: Test platform mirror
Great approach, investing a small amount of money before wasting too much money in something you won’t use. :thumbsup:
Personally I would reduce the outer margins to get some more useable space in the middle of the mirror.

@cowboysdude said in MM2 launch without internet:
Some of it yes… like the clock but the rest if primarily internet data driven…
Won’t even the clock reset to some dummy value? The raspberry does not have a realtime clock and does not know date and time once power was removed.
It uses NTP to update its clock -
RE: Personalize Compliments
My understanding of your module was that you can add modules and assign class names so it is loaded only when the named user is logged in.
My approach was to add the compliments module several times, but with different compliment.json files -
RE: npm start is only showing Windows IIS
Try changing the port in your magicmirror config, for example 8888 instead of 8080 and check again. IIS is using port 8080 already.

RE: npm start is only showing Windows IIS
Why is IIS installed on this machine?

RE: [MMM-PlexNowPlaying] - Display current song played by PlexMediaServer
Hi, thanks for your module and your contribution to the community.
Could I ask you to look at this thread and update your posting according to the new guidelines? -
RE: Starter problem
Did you run
npm installin the MMM-WienerLinien folder? -
RE: Personalize Compliments
I guess if you use https://github.com/tosti007/MMM-ProfileSwitcher with FacialRecognition you can use different compliments. However this is untested.

RE: [ORDER CLOSED] Two way mirror order in Germany
Very amazing. At the beginning we trouble reaching 10 square meters and now we almost reached 20 square meters.
