I think I figured out: As soon as I use the MMM-News module, MagicMirror will freeze at some point. Uninstalled it - no issues.

I can’t remember if turning on OpenGL driver was my issue or not with this… As long as your config files is correct (it isnt a hard config file I will post mine below)… Try opening a terminal window and type sudo raspi-config go to “Advanced Options” and then “OpenGL Driver” Depending on the hardware you have or what PI model you are using you may have just one option or a couple… IF you have multiple options like I have seen … one was FAKE KMS and the other was FULL KMS… I had to choose FULL KMS (i think for raspberry pi3)… on my raspberry pi 4 I believe there is only one option…choose it. (might want to reboot)… cant remember if needed or makes you. Then try again … make sure your device is on the same wifi network as your mirror … You should see your mirror name … I can’t think of what more there could be … unless your router is blocking the default port? You did do npm install in the module directory after cloning it right? My config for the module… { module: 'MMM-Screencast', position: 'center', // This position is for a hidden <div /> and not the screencast window config: { position: 'center', height: 300, width: 500, } },

You have installed MMM-WatchDog, so read the manual of it to configure. I can’t help for this, I don’t use it

I’m sure there is an easy answer to this and I tried to google this but was getting confused. I’m using VirtualBox to create the Raspberry Pi for my MM to “practice” before using my actually Raspberry Pi 3. The module works like a charm. Was able to add weather and some other modules. The problem I’m having is the size of the screen is smaller so the text is overlapping. I wasn’t sure if this was something when I use VirtualBox or can I change the font sizes. I looked this up on Google and they talked about a Custom.CSS file but I wasn’t following what I had to do. Can anyone quickly help out? Thanks.

@zeisolf : At the difference with a real Google Home/ Google Nest. MMM-GoogleAssistant Don’t send ANY audio information to Google in stand-by mode It don’t know that you use Alexa for activating because I don’t use a Google Service for activating ;)

Hi guys, Im close to giving up on this. I really feel I have read many tickets and tried everything. My local on Pi are set to the correct timezone AND I have showEnd: false, in config (as some mentioned as a solution) - using the defualt calendar module. My problem is all my all day events is showed on the day before the correct date. When I edit the All day event to start from 10am, it shows up in MagicMirror as 8am. Everything is working as it should when I create a new all day event, it shows fine - well… until I restarted the mirror a couple of times also those all day events showed up on the day before? This is really annoying. I am on the newest version of Magic Mirror (2.12.0) and my gmail is setup to right timezone, and all events shows up correct in both browser and iphone. To make it even more strange, 1 all day event is shown correctly… All events are from the same gmail calendar… What and where should I start? :-/ Thanks. [image: 1594244995315-1076.jpg]

@geo when u boot your pi, do you see the temples on the background? using raspian buster) or do you see a black screen with a command prompt

hi when i try to boot mm it shows on the screen init version 2.93 booting.then it runs thro a load of code and the final display is rasbian GNU/Linux 10 rasperryberryPi.tty1 and underneath raspberrypi login but it is not poss to do anything from that point forward. please can anyone help or my mm is dead in the water. thx geo
