If the author is inactive, then, really the only thing to do is fork it and revive the module yourself.

@OptimisticShaggy it will run in server mode. you have to have the desktop for a browser to work.

Aaaaah, thanks sdetwell! I ah, just solved it, and the answer was very silly. For any future newbs having this issue across multiple modules, check that the files for modules you are referencing are actually in the Magic Mirror’s modules folder. A few of mine - MMM-MovieListings and MMM-MyCommute somehow got installed in ~/MagicMirror and not ~/MagicMirror/modules , which explains why it was happening in both places. Whoops! MyCommute is now working perfectly.

Wel, it shouldn’t reboot by itself, maybe logging shows a reason. You could switch hardware; pi or sd card. You could run with default magicmirror config. No extra modules installed. To see if its still reboots, and after that slowly add your extra modules to check if one module causes the reboot. When running in a frame, enable ssh, so you can remotely acces the pi. You can also use pm2. This process monitors your magicmirror en restarts the magicmirror when it stops or after a reboot.

Okay, thanks for your help. It is working now. There are still few issues, if you can help. The exact ip still isn’t shown on the magic mirror.
