@justjim1220 I think it could be case-by-case. If the result you expect is just simply showing some contents, iFrame is enough. But, more than that, it depends on what you expect.

@ooskay How about using this? [card:eouia/MMM-HTMLBox] You can put your iframe tag into the content or external file.

This is probably repetitive, but I can’t get my USB microphone and my HDMI speakers to be enabled simultaneously… I have already tried changing the “/etc/modprob/alsa.config” to “bcm2835” after snd_usb_audio (idk if that’s what it is word for word because I’m not looking at my Pi over frustration…) Also, when I do switch my device to “snd_usb_audio”, MagicMirror sends an error and doesn’t start. I’m a straight rookie at this. I literally used the Magic Mirror project to start learning how to code. Thank you in advance, Bryan :(

@mykle1 Actually, no, not for Lucy, That is well explained! I’m referring to the MMM-page-selector But I switched to MMM-pages which is way better explained and much easier to use! (Thanks @edward-shen for making it so easy and well explained!!! )

@broberg Hey, I’m an idiot. I took out the parenthesis and fixed it. I’m not a coder by any means, which is why I need people like you. I realize now the meaning of the (), took it out and fixed it. Thank you.

I am trying to make the clock bigger (I’m using a small 5in screen as a bedside clock for my wife). The only other module I have on it is Google directions and it takes up the top half, I want the clock to fill the bottom half. I’ve tried using “zoom”, but it doesn’t seem to work right. How can I make it bigger? Also, as a warning, I am a noob. Thanks!

@josephsuun said in MMM-WunderGround stuck at Loading: I hope this help you, help me. I really want MMM-WunderGround to work. I took your entry for Wunderground and tested it with my API key. It fired right up. [image: 1532049262762-123.png] Can I ask when you got your API key? There is an issue now with Wunderground. Older API keys still seem to work but the newer ones (before they stopped issuing) don’t.

@postremalone - Could you provide some more information? Tell us what command you entered and specifically what messages you received. Remember to use the markup tags.

I’ve been messing with this off and on for the last few days. Perhaps I should clarify that I’m trying to get this working on a Pi Zero W. MM runs on the Pi Zero W just fine, but this module doesn’t. I installed MM and MMM-Sonos on a Pi 3b, and both work just fine. I’m wondering if this couldn’t be an issue with node being an older versionon the Zero W?

Sorry that I did not reply earlier - I simply didn’t see this topic. If you have bugs, either trigge rme with a PM, post your issue in the original thread, or in the github project. Please change the ‘draft’ option to ‘false’, otherwise you are still in draft mode where the actual values are of course not shown ;-)

@postremalone Fastest way to show MM is to have the RPi already running, then simply turn on the the display. Check out this thread here for use with a PIR or other sensor/button. Apparently, because it already draws such little power, there is no desire to implement suspend on RPi. As for speeding up boot, as @lavolp3 said, the issue is not the logo, but booting the OS. You can strip down the Raspbian boot for speed, but it will never be instantaneous (sub 1 sec). You can apparently get down to 10 seconds with a stripped down distro and Class 10 SD card.

@sean thx for the link. I tried something like this. But this is much harder and there were a lot of possible mistakes I could make. I think it is easyer to reinstall a new raspian an the magicmirror. I had never thougt, that there is no easy way to move to a bigger sd card, but it seems to be this way.
