Hey there, this forum has been a huge help for me the plan and build my magic mirror. It will have indirect lighting included and needs a way to switch that on. I planned to do this controlled by motion. I found the various modules here, but don’t know which is best to use. I also plan to use @paviro’s MMM-Facial-Recognition and read that some are not compatible and block the cam. Is there any motion detection module that uses camera and is compatible with the facial module? If not I might use a PIR, but that’s only the worst case (I don’t like the hole in the front, maybe I mount it below the frame and adjust sensitivity to trigger with moving feet…).

City mapper has a very complex api that I’m pretty sure requires a key, but if someone could map this in it would cover tonnes of areas (I know that none of the existing modules cover me here in Australia).

Did you ever get this going? If so please share how. I could not with html… I too have a text file, a grocery list from any.do that I want to display. I was using todoist with this but want to display more than one list.

I would be really convinient to have this Information on my MagicMirror but I don’t have the Knowledge to program this so I’m asking one of you to please help me and build this module! Hey guys (and girls), is there a module that can set GPIOs high or low? I need that to controll some mosfets for LEDs. If not directly possible, maybe I can use a module to call a script that does this (and maybe even with software pwm, but thats more a thing of scripting…).

cant you just trigger another script when action is detected powerplug.sh and it contains something like this sudo bash smart_fritz_terminal.sh 1 on maybe that works

Hi, I’m new on this forum and I would need your help to emulate a mouse using the Skywriter. Using the library installed with the skywriter, I can move the mouse pointer but no possibility to simulate a left click. Who can help me to find the code to add in the “mouse.py” to do this function? Many thanks
