@strawberry-3.141 Hi! I was verry busy with work. Any way, Is it possible to hide or show specific modules, such as show/hide clock or weather? Or to change profile with profileswitcher?
Kind regards
-
@pepemujica that is not possible atm
-
@strawberry-3.141 So, what’s the final purpose of this module, sorry I can’t get in to it
-
@pepemujica atm you can control the following modules (mmm-soccer, mmm-fuel, mmm-nhl and mmm-ip)
and some basic commands in the voice module itself
COMMANDS:
- HIDE MODULES
- SHOW MODULES
- WAKE UP
- GO TO SLEEP
- OPEN HELP
- CLOSE HELP
-
im having a problem with this module i try to speak the magic mirror-> then go to command like “GO TO SLEEP” but nothing will happen also when i speak the command “Magic Mirror” then the mic flashing it does nothing
-
@pawpawsoswag try saying “MAGIC MIRROR VOICE”
-
@Advokaten still not working :(
-
@pawpawsoswag MAGIC MIRROR VOICE OPEN HELP? Maybe pause a bit before saying “VOICE”?
-
Hello,
maybe someone can help me…I installed this module and when I starting the Magic Mirror, everything seems to be fine.
But since I installed this Module, my microfone and the audio output is not working anymore (I tested the microfone and the speaker before I installed this module).
Iḿ using a USB-Dongle and like I sayed, everything was fine until I installed this module.
When I choose the “Audio Device Setting”, I can choose between “bcm2385 ALSA” and “USB PnP Sound Device”. Both are not working anymore.
Someone have some advise?
Thank you very much.
-
@Rattenjunge8080 Did you get any install errors?
-
@cowboysdude no, there were no errors and the module is appearing in the UI of the Mirror.
I think it has something to do with the pocketsphinx Software-> cause this problem seems to happend often for people using USB-Sound devices on Raspian Jesse. It changes the priority of the Sound devices for some reason…
-
That’s odd because I had no issues myself. Delete the pocketsphinx and run npm install again
-
@cowboysdude Didn’t worked. I think this module let my RPI crash (more like: changes in my system were made, which I cannot set back).
I will bet a backup and try again.
Thanks for your help! -
@Rattenjunge8080 Yeah I’m not seeing that… it wouldn’t crash your system or RPI. It would have to change the Raspbian operating system to do that and it doesn’t touch that… so it’s very possible you could have an SD card going South…
-
Hi there,
could you have a look with us on this ?
MMM-Voice libpocketsphinx.so.3: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory[update]
Thank you
Kind Regards -
@beck0r Same thing I would delete pocketsphinx and reinstall it…
-
@cowboysdude
I have removed the folder pocketsphinx with rm -r. This did not feel right ;)Since I’m quite new to linux… could you please describe me the proper way to remove the needed components?
Sorry if I may have overlooked something around here. A lot of posts for a newcomer.Thank you very much

@cowboysdude
Update:Ran bash dependencies.sh again and reinstalled sphinx but still the same output in the debug log.
-
You’re doing it correctly just not sure why you’re getting those results.
I would, if I were you, delete the entire thing… start over. Something is getting corrupt.
-
I did that, still the same… here’s what “npm start dev” is showing me right now
