Great!!!
It’s working with the link… where did you find it?
Regards, Christoph
-
@chris1971 this is the link from the picture of the Earth on the eumesat webpage…
-
yes - and now I still have the question if the picture will be updated automatically. With the old configuration (on the EUMETSAT server) I got a new picture every 15 minutes…
-
@chris1971 i hope so
-
until now - no update… still the same picture since 2 hours…
-
If you are using . . .
ownImagePath:'https://eumetview.eumetsat.int/static-images/MSG/RGB/NATURALCOLOR/FULLRESOLUTION/IMAGESDisplay/VazIBqHF9k665', updateInterval: 10*60*1000
. . . then that address would need to update with a new picture for the module to retrieve and display it. If that address is a static picture then the module will only be able to display that.

@Mykle1 perfekt thank you …

I replaced the own image path in the css with “http://gif.keraunos.org/nuageseu.gif”.
The part of the css is looking now:‘’’
{module: 'MMM-Globe', position: 'middle_center', config: { style: 'europeDiscNat', imageSize: 500, ownImagePath:'http://gif.keraunos.org/nuageseu.gif', updateInterval: 1*60*1000 // ervery 2 minutes }
},
‘’’
It’s not a real globe, but a good animated gif for the weather forecast with clouds… -
I replace the URL own image path with https://eumetview.eumetsat.int/static-images/latestImages/EUMETSAT_MSG_RGBNatColourEnhncd_LowResolution.jpg
There are different of quality but is the better I found -
