    • How do you stay up-to-date on the MM forum?

      In the last day’s I noticed that I use the “Unread” sector, to see what the forum is doing. Do to the fact that the community is growing, means that the weekend is the time that I can read all the thinks that are new or changes on the forum. With bookmark’s en ‘watching’ some page’s I can get some what off a overview, that can be used in the other days.

      How do you guys do it?

      @acrylicmfg I don’t mind you asking around, after a few post it seems that you don’t have that background that other forum people have. My answer would be that a video would be a good guide for you, try youtube

    • RE: Looking for Mirror creaters experience

      @lolobyte it was a china make product “HDMI to VGA Converter Adapter Cable-442739” and resolution is 1440x900 (WXGA+).

      Im planning to make a 2.0 version with HDMI, 1080 resolution and extra that I see on the forum that I want to try out.

      sorry for the really late reaction.

      If you use a Raspberry Pi then the OS is (most off the time) Raspbian and that is a Linux base system. As an application MM run’s on it.

      The old topic and this one, are around for some time but I’m just finding out. I’m loving the work that you made and would like to now where you bought your product and if you like them? The connect issue is in the past and think @EoF mirror is still running great!!

      Myself would love a version 2 off my mirror and touch screen is a nice upgrade :)

    • RE: Showcase Guidelines

      I can imagination that this is a good format for future or present module. This means that the poster need to have a ‘good’ post in first ~hours. After that time you can’t edit the post, but for a version section it is nice to have it in the first post. This is what I have experienced on the forum.

      I’m really curious if this by design and/or what people can do if they want to edit a section off there post?
      Let me know @paviro

      ps. Hope this is the right post for this.

      Looking great, hope you get the PIR working.
      I will appreciate if you share you work(step) to your finishing mirror. Trying to upgrade my mirror with PIR sensor in the future. So your step/choice would help me later on.

    • RE: MagicMirror v2.1.0 Update error

      If the original this is:

      Blockquote ipWhitelist: [“127.0.0.1”, “::ffff:127.0.0.1”, “::1”],

      Then I guess that the modifed can look like this:

      Blockquote ipWhitelist: [“127.0.0.1”, “::ffff:127.0.0.1”, “::1”, “192.168.0.1”, “192.168.250.250”],

      If you dont get the “::ffff:127.0.0.1” lookup “ipv4 to ipv6 translation” on google.
