The error https://apod.nasa.gov/apod/undefined with MMM-nasaastropic can occur when the media published by NASA is not an image (a video for example). My new module MMM-APOD support image and video (thanks to NASA API) : https://github.com/grenagit/MMM-APOD [image: MMM-APOD_screenshot.png]

Thank you @AxLed ! I forgott to mention a power & a reboot button attached to the GPIO Pins and exactly that (false positive reboot-script execution) was the root of the Problem. I solved it with rechecking the pins for LOW-state after a 1/10 of a second. This issue bugged me for several months. Thank you again!

Hi all, I recently suffered a power outage uknowingly (happened whilst I was at work) and one morning I updated MagicMirror (using sudo git pull && npm install) and since then my MagicMirror boots up to the raspbian desktop then the screen goes blank. I’ve followed other peoples advice of forcing an update but with no effect. I also tried a “np install” from each of the module folders that contained a package.json file but again - no effect. Here’s an outout from the pm2 logs pi@raspberrypi:~ $ pm2 logs [TAILING] Tailing last 15 lines for [all] processes (change the value with --lines option) /home/pi/.pm2/pm2.log last 15 lines: PM2 | 2019-08-11T17:53:12: PM2 log: Time : Sun Aug 11 2019 17:53:12 GMT+0100 (BST) PM2 | 2019-08-11T17:53:12: PM2 log: PM2 version : 3.2.9 PM2 | 2019-08-11T17:53:12: PM2 log: Node.js version : 9.11.2 PM2 | 2019-08-11T17:53:12: PM2 log: Current arch : arm PM2 | 2019-08-11T17:53:12: PM2 log: PM2 home : /home/pi/.pm2 PM2 | 2019-08-11T17:53:12: PM2 log: PM2 PID file : /home/pi/.pm2/pm2.pid PM2 | 2019-08-11T17:53:12: PM2 log: RPC socket file : /home/pi/.pm2/rpc.sock PM2 | 2019-08-11T17:53:12: PM2 log: BUS socket file : /home/pi/.pm2/pub.sock PM2 | 2019-08-11T17:53:12: PM2 log: Application log path : /home/pi/.pm2/logs PM2 | 2019-08-11T17:53:12: PM2 log: Process dump file : /home/pi/.pm2/dump.pm2 PM2 | 2019-08-11T17:53:12: PM2 log: Concurrent actions : 2 PM2 | 2019-08-11T17:53:12: PM2 log: SIGTERM timeout : 1600 PM2 | 2019-08-11T17:53:12: PM2 log: =============================================================================== PM2 | 2019-08-11T17:53:12: PM2 log: App [mm:0] starting in -fork mode- PM2 | 2019-08-11T17:53:12: PM2 log: App [mm:0] online /home/pi/.pm2/logs/mm-out.log last 15 lines: 0|mm | 0|mm | 0|mm | > magicmirror@2.8.0 start /home/pi/MagicMirror 0|mm | > sh run-start.sh 0|mm | 0|mm | Starting MagicMirror: v2.8.0 0|mm | Loading config ... 0|mm | Loading module helpers ... 0|mm | No helper found for module: alert. 0|mm | Loading module helpers ... 0|mm | No helper found for module: alert. 0|mm | Whoops! @Stoffbeuteluwe there is no dumb questions! But… You could start to specify what module it is (i e the name, not just a picture). That way one could look at how the code of the module and then give you examples on how to practically solve it. As always when you ask for help on the internet, be specific and add as much info as you can.

Thanks for the quick reply. I looked at the file details and the creation date. It’s from a while back and knowing now that its a core dump I’ll delete it.

@SirVer said in MMM-EasyPix Multiple pics: diashow? SLIDESHOW ? No, EasyPix has no slideshow feature. It was created to handle images and sound files for Hello-Lucy. This is what I use for a slideshow. https://github.com/AdamMoses-GitHub/MMM-ImageSlideshow

Hi All, In dire need of some help/advice!! We bought the magic mirror business of its previous owners last year. However, a few serious updates are required to keep it fresh and inviting. I am having an issue with designing new overlays for the pictures that are taken on the mirror. I do not have a mac nor adobe photoshop to edit any frame/borders and I have tried to use Paint however it has been a pain to use! Is there anyone that can be of help with this? Thanks, Faz

@Sean Crap on a stick. I just got done figuring out how to modify your old CalendarExt the way I like it. I certainly need this feature, so I guess I’ll be going back to the drawing board. My intention is to have control of the CalendarExt2 using your AssistantMK2 module. Should be fun!
