Thank you!!! You just gave me the perfect idea for my ‘control center’… it won’t be a mirror but I am going to use an IR touch frame for it ;) Mounting it in my kitchen… I’ll build a cabinet around it!!!
I’ll be using @strawberry-3-141 voice control because I don’t want it coming on every time someone walks by it :)

I believe that as MM grows it is out growing the RPI. Hate to say it but at this point it really is… So this new board may be the answer for a few things!

@Mykle1 Well at times yes but without @strawberry-3-141 for the encoding this one had me stopped dead in my tracks :)

I have found a few IR touch frames but you have to read the fine print…

Here’s what I’m finding…

6 Point IR Touch frame

SO it’s 6 point touch except Linux then it’s just single touch…

so be careful and understand what you’re buying ;)

I ordered the IR Touch frame we are talking about here…now two of us have the same frame and that makes it easier to figure out any issues :)

I built a 7" version… the photos are on here somewhere LOL Touch alarm clock that shows weather, emails, NFL scores, and alarm clock :)

Right now I’m building a 32" version for the kitchen… that will run lights, door locks, thermostat and give information. Will be running strawberrys voice module as well as a 32" IR touch frame… so yeah I love MM you can do so much with it! :)

@pauabaer I updated it the best it’s going to be for now.

I am working on a module that supports both English and German so this one will be deprecated soon.

All these things will be worked out in the new one.
