Just finished one bit of the whole but I would like to start sharing back to the community.

Wrote a C module that works as virtual mouse and interprets swipes with help of a kinect gen1 .
Works only on raspberry 4 or debian pc.

Next : write the corresponding mm module. The c program is built to do that (outputs json to stdout to be fed to a js)

Since I am Italian I looked under your iftt accounts for Italian but I could not find.
I understand it is WIP.

You can use a custom card called custom header to minimize the top and right bar . also having it happen just for the mm through user agent recognition

About Hotword: have you tried Porcupine? seems to be very good

what prevents you to prepare a dedicated hass lovelace tab and display that with module smartwebdisplay?

Everything seemed to go fine with the new installer (great!).
However after installing I have no screen feedback.
I have activated debug and everything seems fine though (no major error message).
Too late to test voice in home cannot say if the assistnt itself works.
What could it be due to?

I have ported/copied from previous install the profile and credentials file.

Just wanted to thank all for the great info.
I am finishing, after some years of reading and adding, my first mirror build.
I am very happy with it even if its not completely finished yet (software wise).
The mirror is 70x180 with a 37 inch screen. Rpi4
Rcwl doppler based presence sensor thanks to…cant remember user
Tv ir and buttons exported to the frame
4 momentary switchws + 4 switches to manage tv and somw settings
Intel movidius ncs2 stick inside and configured to be used soon with posenet and face reco (todo)
Embedded lovelace homeassistant dashboadd (tx mmm smartwwebdisplay module author)

@toastedtoasty I think you might have forgot to configure your mail in the oauth tab in google Dev console.
This happened to me.

I have all setup correctly and no error with the configs.
I think I have understood the correct working of transcriptionhook but it does not fire the related actions.
Can you confirm it is like this the logic:
I setup a keyword in the config (unicorn) in the example you provide.
Notification trigger catches the word if it is spoken after the hotword.
The related action is fired.

Unfortunately nothing is triggered . Also : should I see some feedback in the console windows if the hook triggers ?

I think I will finally settle for a raspiecam and embed it in the frame .

Could you send more pics? Both with light and without and with something reflected in it?
What is the exact part number / name of the Pilkington mirrror used?
Have you integrated the camera ? How did you conceal it in the frame?

Paste in the jshint site. It will give you the exact line where an error is and what is expected.
90pc of the time it is correct.

Other method: remove completely the section, paste it in a text only editor like text pad and the paste it back.

The rules for json are simple but it can get complicated with indents and nesting

I am assuming that the reseller is … A reseller … and is not a producer.

Otherwise also phisycal characteristics could be useful .
I understand you work in this domain so you know better then me what is significant (refraction rate, reflection rate , transmittance…).
