What's the correct way to remove any margins from a module?

Thanks, I ended up doing this in my custom.css #module_4_MMM-CalendarExt3 { margin-left: -40px; margin-right: -40px; } It doesn’t seem like the best approach, but it works.

@redink For better daytime visibility, go with an LED or OLED display with high brightness and good contrast. A commercial-grade high-nit display or an IPS panel with anti-glare coating can also help reduce reflections. Adjusting brightness and using a high-quality two-way mirror with better light transmission can further improve readability!

My current MagicMirror is an old 40" LCD TV. It’s positioned in area that get a lot of light and is quite hard to read. I am considering rebuilding it with something might brighter. What TV would recommend? Something around 55" would be fantastic.

I am trying to get MMM-AQI running, but it’s not displaying correctly. It’s showing the wrong location, not matter what I try. The most recent thread on this module is a few years old, so I am starting a new one.

@sdetweil What I kept trying to do is get node and npm updated, but I royally screwed things up where nothing is working anymore. I can’t use the PM2 command to start and stop things or see the status. So, I just nuked the SD card and am starting from scratch. I will use your scripts.

@sdetweil It only runs a patched version of stretch right now. I am able to do the project I was wanting to do with it… at $55 it is a little pricey and a LOT more work to get running debian, but it is doing the job. Finally found a wireless adapter for the Libre and it is rock steady… Only thing I do not like is I can not seem to get it to boot from a usb drive has to be from sd card… Fun little learning experience…

You can use the latest version, but make sure you use the full version. Not the lite version.

@redink if you can, get their SSID and password and enter those in the PI wifi config before delivery. Personal information, like calendar etc you should just leave the default settings and then help them set up their calendar after first boot up. So what I’m saying is, leave it as stock as possible (so they can start it up and look at it) after that help them with the personal stuff :)
