@RIKKO14 sadly it will be easier just to reinstall mm. rename the current MagicMirror folder to some other name git clone npm.ibstall then copy the config.js from the saved add disabled:true, to each module entry in config.js for modules not in the modules/defaults folder

Hello Bugsounet, I had seen your MMM-UpdateNotification module and I hesitated (but wanted to do it anyway) to install it because very recent and as I am a beginner I was afraid that if a bug happened as I could having with the initial installation of the PIR module (which you very kindly help me configure afterwards) where I had to re-install my modules. What was weird is that before GoogleAssistant and Assistant2Display were displayed for the update, and there for this update not. I am not a fan of git pull but once again I am a beginner: sometimes for updates I see git pull sometimes not so I try things … Anyway, so I installed MMM-UpdateNotification is now no more worries about updating. I disabled the default updatenotification module like this /*{ module: "updatenotification", position: "top_bar" },*/ I hope it’s ok. Thank you again for all your contributions and your availability. Now I will try to install MMM-GABackgound another great idea from you. THANK YOU

@RIKKO14 Nobody has it in the configuration app if it’s a pi4. It’s now it’s own application. Glad you got it fixed.

whenever I unplug my pi and plug it back in the fan will go crazy and make a loud noise. What I do is unplug it and plug it back in multiple times until it goes back to normal. Anyone know why?

@RIKKO14 eaddrinuse means something is already using that port? did u reboot and then try pm2 start again pm2 status will show u what is defined and running

@kayakbabe disabled:true does the same as commenting out. and less possible to have an error.
