@Extra I am having the same issue. Most of the news I see is new but I have news that is showing from 4 5 and 6 months ago as well. I have tried multiple different ways to format the config with the same problems everytime. Did you ever figure this out?

well the problem was I think about privileges to issue the xrandr command from a shell. I got it worked out with xhost + and it works fine now. Thanks a lot for your help.

@sdetweil Thanks for your response! I’ve restarted the whole host system (Raspberry Pi 4) several times and the message is gone. Regarding your hint: I’ve actually tried it but hadnt any luck in identifying the correct DOM node. Also searching in the DOM tree for the word didn’t return any item. Nevermind: Issue is gone since restarting the whole system :)

@keven1508 - Film based one-way mirrors are a compromise. They’re marginal at best if you’re on a tight budget. The amount of light reflected just isn’t as good as a professionally built one-way glass. If you do insist on going with film, I would recommend taking the film and the glass to an automobile tint shop and asking if they’ll apply the film for you for a nominal fee. They have the experience and are probably the best people local to you to do it.

@sdetweil I was reading some other issues similar to mine and I ran npm install request in the MMM-SORT module and after 20 minutes it had finished - I rebooted and everything came up working as I needed it to be - thanks for your help - very much appreciated!

Hi when run magicmirror npm start With the Alexa control in my configuration file In the Terminal in say load up like drive sewt something like . And magicmirror 2 freeze up and will no run . I had removed the module And larst bracket [ As instructions you sent me Any help getting my Alexa control to work? Or we try get GoogleAssistant to change my pages My EXT PAGES: is working in timed CAROUSEL is working My GoogleAssistant recipes folder With pages changing code has problem . It starts up fine If I ask it to . go to page 2 it works. But if ask it to go to page 3 it all freezes up totally locked I have do hard reboot. Any help in this problem? Thanks James videogame95

When I start the Magic Mirror, my Modules MMM-Notion, mmm-systemtemperature and my default calendar are just loading and not working! The only 2 errors I get in the developers menu which are belonging to this modules, are belonging to the system temperature module (Error on loading Script /Error when starting node helper) . If you need more information you can ask!
