@bobbob601 aren’t all requests personal? Why should that matter?

Anyhow, found this https://launchlibrary.net, they offer a API, but it’s for all kind of launches not just spacex.

@soqueen TBH I rolled the master branch back to an earlier version that worked and branched the version with the bus stop name as the header.

Once I get the last couple of issues in that branch version sorted I’ll role it back into the master. If you want to try it and give me feedback, the branch is called HeadersIssue.

As far as I know, there is no such module yet. Actually, I see this as two different things:

A module that shows a route on a map and accepts notifications to change the route. For this, you could use the existing MMM-googlemaps module. Support of notifications has to be implemented, though. A voice-control module sending the notification to the module described in 1. It has to be able to detect not only keywords but truely recognize speech, so that you can input origin A and destination B. I guess this is already done in one of the several voice-control modules (probably in the pocketsphinx one)?!

Moovit intergration would be great to get info about the trip between home and work, for example get the best Route based on transport jams, etc…

Here is a link to the API :

@bminer1 Hi! I’m using an iframe for waze, is not the best since you can not indicate from where to where to go, but you can set it to show the traffic of an specific area.

    Hi everyone,

If someone can do this and if it is possible, can you make a module to display the next alarms of the Timely application?

The application shares alarm clocks with all phones with the same google account so why not with the mirror ? ^^

Thank you and have a good day.

@Mykle1 I did - I also run cron jobs to turn the monitor off & on (night & day). I just have “interesting” WiFi, so monitoring is not a bad idea. Guess I really should run a ping of the MM from somewhere else & send myself a txt if it goes down. I’ll putter around with IFTTT…

Hey hello, I have my magic mirror and I customize the mirror with some modules, but I want to install a video player in the middle, I think it will be awesome.
My idea is to have some videos in one folder and then the module will read and play one each other without stop .
I don’t know how to make modules, or program in JS, if someone could help me to understand just more it will be great.
    Thanks to all!

I cannot find a module which does exactly what you want but maybe this module is a good way to start.
    https://github.com/PtrBld/MMM-Podcast
I don’t know how it works exactly because I don’t get how the omxplayer shows up but you can try this out since it plays videos what you require.

The range of a PIR sensor maybe is too wide. I expect it detects anyone as soon as he enters the room so the adverts disappear before someone can have a look on it. I have a HC-SR501 for my own mirror and it reacts relatively fast.

I estimate a ultrasonic sensor is better for this task. I think of the HC-SR04 which just detects objects directly in front of it (max. distance ~ 3 meters). As long as no one stand in front of it, a mirror will be useless anyway.

I hope I could helped you a little bit and could give you a push in the right direction.

Edit: recently found this: https://forum.magicmirror.builders/topic/2094/youtube-embedded-youtube-on-your-magicmirror which may also help you.

Hi, i’m a totally beginner and the temperature/ humidity sensor is one of my first modules i want to install by myself. Here is the github link:

    https://github.com/bernardpletikosa/MMM-DHT-Sensor

This were the first things i did:

    pi@raspberrypi:~ $ cd ~/MagicMirror/modules pi@raspberrypi:~/MagicMirror/modules $ git clone https://github.com/bernardpletikosa/MMM-DHT-Sensor.git Klone nach 'MMM-DHT-Sensor'... remote: Counting objects: 18, done. remote: Total 18 (delta 0), reused 0 (delta 0), pack-reused 18 Entpacke Objekte: 100% (18/18), Fertig. Prüfe Konnektivität... Fertig. pi@raspberrypi:~/MagicMirror/modules $ cd MMM-DHT-Sensor pi@raspberrypi:~/MagicMirror/modules/MMM-DHT-Sensor $ npm install

But then there came these lines:

npm WARN prefer global node-gyp@3.6.0 should be installed with -g > rpi-dht-sensor@0.1.1 install /home/pi/MagicMirror/modules/MMM-DHT-Sensor/node_modules/rpi-dht-sensor > node-gyp rebuild make: Entering directory '/home/pi/MagicMirror/modules/MMM-DHT-Sensor/node_modules/rpi-dht-sensor/build' CC(target) Release/obj.target/node_dht_sensor/src/bcm2835.o CXX(target) Release/obj.target/node_dht_sensor/src/node-dht-sensor.o SOLINK_MODULE(target) Release/obj.target/node_dht_sensor.node COPY Release/node_dht_sensor.node make: Leaving directory '/home/pi/MagicMirror/modules/MMM-DHT-Sensor/node_modules/rpi-dht-sensor/build' > Magic-Mirror-Module-DHT-Sensor@1.0.0 postinstall /home/pi/MagicMirror/modules/MMM-DHT-Sensor > electron-rebuild -e ../../node_modules/electron-prebuilt An unhandled error occurred inside electron-rebuild Unable to find electron-prebuilt's version number, either install it or specify an explicit version Error: Unable to find electron-prebuilt's version number, either install it or specify an explicit version at _callee$ (/home/pi/MagicMirror/modules/MMM-DHT-Sensor/node_modules/electron-rebuild/lib/cli.js:74:17) at tryCatch (/home/pi/MagicMirror/modules/MMM-DHT-Sensor/node_modules/babel-runtime/node_modules/regenerator-runtime/runtime.js:63:40) at GeneratorFunctionPrototype.invoke [as _invoke] (/home/pi/MagicMirror/modules/MMM-DHT-Sensor/node_modules/babel-runtime/node_modules/regenerator-runtime/runtime.js:337:22) at GeneratorFunctionPrototype.prototype.(anonymous function) [as next] (/home/pi/MagicMirror/modules/MMM-DHT-Sensor/node_modules/babel-runtime/node_modules/regenerator-runtime/runtime.js:96:21) at GeneratorFunctionPrototype.tryCatcher (/home/pi/MagicMirror/modules/MMM-DHT-Sensor/node_modules/bluebird/js/release/util.js:16:23) at PromiseSpawn._promiseFulfilled (/home/pi/MagicMirror/modules/MMM-DHT-Sensor/node_modules/bluebird/js/release/generators.js:97:49) at /home/pi/MagicMirror/modules/MMM-DHT-Sensor/node_modules/bluebird/js/release/generators.js:201:15 at Object.
