thanks for the response. Everything seems correctly configured. Unless I’m missing an “Available Space” config… but I dont believe so.
As far as permissions, I wouldnt know where to begin haha

I think it would be great to have a kaleidoscope module. Something to distort a group of photos located on the pi. Color washes or mirrored moving images. Has anyone attempted this? I haven’t seen anything like it.

@sdetweil
Got it! Solved!
Sam, I can’t thank you enough for your time and patience. I appreciate all of your help. Over the years even!
I dont mean to be an annoyance. I find these issues daunting and beyond understanding at times.
@Nneuland I assume you are now on Bullseye - see here https://forum.magicmirror.builders/topic/16865/mmm-remotecontrol-or-vcgencmd-issue and change the settings to use the fake KMS driver (fkms) instead of kms.
@Nneuland
I had the same problem with MMM-GoogleCalendar, but only after I added the module planetrise. I disabled planetrise and everything went back to working fine. After a few days, I reinstalled planetrise, and my calendar/lost internet issue returned. I am looking into ways of debugging now.
Hi there,
My MMM-Coinmarketcap won’t load for me on the mirror.
For some reason it’s loading on MMM-remotecontrol on my phone, but not on the mirror itself.
Is this a common occurrence? Anyone have suggestions on troubleshooting this?
Thanks,
N
@Nneuland I’ll toss in my two cents but my old router all the ip addresses seemed fixed.
My new router arbitrarily change ip addresses on devices and while I assume it provides some sort of protection to home network it made my life very complicated for a few weeks.
I’ve come back and made static ip addresses for some but not all of the various IoT stuff.
The remote control module works wonderfully.
The only issue is one of the modules does not dim with the others. Not sure why. MMM-RAIN_MAP stays bight regardless of the level of dim within the remote control app. Any thoughts?
