Hello! I’m a real newbie at MM but is trying to build my first, but I have som problem with the default Calendar module. It will not show edited appointments that I have in my calendar. I have a work-schedule as All-day events, and if I edit one of the events if my workday change that specific day, the calendar don’t fetch the change. It show the original appointment. First I thought something was wrong with my Calendar. But then I tried MMM-CalendarExt, and whoops, it showed the real editet events, so now the same gmail-calendar show different events on my mirror. Is the default calendar module “caching” events and don’t read them again? or anyone having some clue why it’s not updated?1_1506923333807_calendar2.JPG [image: 1506923333894-calendar1.jpg]

I had probably killed something, now everything is running again. There is probably a problem with the calendar since the update. But I’m probably not alone … Thanks for the quick help!

However when running from lib I get an error: From . import config Value Error: Attempted relative import in non-package if I run it from the MM-Facial-Recognition-tools folder the error is ValueError:Needs more than 3 values to unpack I installed the requirements, not sure what I am missing. Thanks!

@j.e.f.f I don’t think so, but i could be off. As a second datapoint, I’m having the module run a shell script on status change, which first writes the current time to a log file, before then triggering xset or vcgencmd. I don’t think it’s vcgencmd that is causing me issue.

@stcstanatic said in Weather not displaying: Thanks again for taking your time to help out a stranger! No problem. I’m sure @cowboysdude will take a look at your issue with NOAA. I know that he has been working his butt off at his real job lately, leaving him little time, if any, to concentrate on this. He will get to it though. Can I ask, what version of MM are you running?

@mollobeck said in Take back the control: I secretly hope that I did not buy this screen for nothing… There definitely needs to be the right combination of mirror and display in order for MM to look its best. Obviously, a display with bright whites and absolute blacks is preferred. And then there’s the glass or acrylic and light transmission percentages, and as you pointed out, thickness. There are several topics on the forum that address each of these concerns. Do a search and you’ll see them. If you feel the display is the problem, perhaps you can return it? Sell it? Or use it for another purpose? Of course, that means buying another, but you want to be happy with the result.

Noob alert! FYI, you have to run the Desktop GUI, in a terminal only, it won’t work (if that can help others)
