@johnnyboy I don’t know if there is a difference but try both. But like you must have read in the other thread, it doesn’t get absolutely absolute. It will still display an event 2 days from now as “The day after tomorrow” & next day’s event as “tomorrow”. fadepoint is to define, from where the events list will start to face out. “//” is used to mark start of a comment made by the programmer .

@Mar I don’t know the concrete differences between these commands. I guess you will have to look at the man pages, or search for some documentation. I would just use the commands, which work (best) for your Pi. Also why is it a 2 and not a 7 in your last command? Which of these commands works best for a Pi is probably depending on model, firmware, and maybe other things.

@KMH0 Actually it is always the same thing. Find yourself a module you like, for example: MMM-IP Top right on the github repository you see a green button saying “clone or download”. If you click it you get the url for this repository. In this case it is https://github.com/fewieden/MMM-ip.git Open a terminal on your pi (either directly or using SSH) and type cd ~/MagicMirror/modules Clone the module to your pi by typing git clone https://github.com/fewieden/MMM-ip.git. This downloads the repository and extracts it into a new folder. Enter the new directory cd MMM-ip and run npm install (in this case it is not required … the readme should tell you to do so) Edit your config file and add the code for the new module as the readme instructs to. Restart your magic mirror process and check what happened. Sidenote: If you run into trouble with your config file, you can always paste the content into http://jshint.com/. If everything is fine it will only show this which is fine: One undefined variable 64 module

@johnnyboy for testing purposes you can also start the mirror with npm start dev, which shows developer tools and the top menu bar

@roramirez said in compliments module with currentweather doesn’t work: So, there a bug here. I can review and see a fix that if no other people is interested. I reply myself. This is already fixed in the develop branch. You can see https://github.com/MichMich/MagicMirror/commit/cbafaf5d5614e255e6a0babf7966e262fcc612bc PS: Perhaps this type of things is better notice by an issue in Github.

@johnnyboy In fact the # marks single lines as a comment and as such the statement on this line will not be interpreted. Good you found it in the end!

@Jopyth , the console.log didnt even appear once although the RFID is working. Another issue is that the python script will suddenly stop functioning for no reason and it will start functioning again about 1 minute later ( i realized this when the RFID didnt have any response after i tapped a card. )
